I just did the Spa 1hr race for the first time and only had a spit of rain. When it came, about five laps from the end, from the look of the weather radar I thought it would tip it down so I changed to wets, but it dried up within one lap. Then I had to decide whether to pit for RH tyres and risk track position or baby it to the end and use the buffer I had built up. I do like the way these new races make you think tactically and choose an option, you never quite know if you are making the right call.

I have liked Spa track always and first real game experience with it has been Geoff Grammonds F1 Grand Prix (1) wih Commodore Amica 500.

I have not done this 24h (60mins) endurance event with Hard level (too much hassle and need of violent elbows), but I won it once with normal level by one lap to second.
Setting difficulty to easy, this is currently quite confortable way to waste an hour onto driving and gaining 1 500 000 credits.

Currently I am testing various GR3 class cars with it. Mustang, Viper and Corvette has been very pleasant to drive on wet and dry.
New Ford GT was nightmare at any speed, but managed to win with it too. Racing Hards and Wets are the tyres I've got along with and fuel mixture on 6 lean. During dry I have Traction Control 1 and when torrential rain it's full 5. Casual 2.22 laps on dry. Pleasant track.

Le Sarthe 700PP

It's a good blend of fun and competitiveness but ultimately a straightforward win for 825K.

I don't do the Tomohawk on Tokyo. I dont specifically grind credits, I just play the game.

If I'm in need of cash (never have been really) ill play the Le Sarthe 700PP and aim to use a car I haven't done so previously and mainly something that isn't broken (like the Tomohawk).

Used the Pennzoil, Amuse S2000, WRX Gr.B, Tuned R32, '01 Porsche 911 etc.

If you can drive that Amuse S2000 stock, you're a better man than I. That thing and I don't get along with all that front splitter downforce

AFK method via PS Remote Play earns me 600K/hr. This frees you up to do whatever you want in the game.
Out of interest, does yours work consistently? I find mine goes wrong, just after daily mileage, which I can live with, but then can sometimes go on for hours, or times I come back 30 mins or 3 hours later and its stuck on daytona.

If so, which settings do you run? I'm certainly not leaving the ps5 running close to 24/7, but would like to be able to leave it overnight and not return in the morning to find its gone wrong 2 or 3 races in.

But agree, prefer this to tomahawk, despite lower payout, as means can play game as i want, which isn't racing a space ship around Tokyo:D

I don't care about the fastest way. But the 1 hour race in Spa is a lot of fun with different cars and you earn 1.5 million credits in one hour.

If i have 1 h i'll do the Spa race, if i have half an hour i do the 15 rounds of Sardegna.

Does any one of you have tips for short races 2-5 or max 10 laps on tarmac with relatively high crediz output and without too strict limitations like nation or PP so i can try a lot of cars whenever i have some minutes? preferably not tokio.

Blue moon bay in the pan American world events. Only do the first race then exit. It accepts only road cars though

The most lucrative 5 lapper I've been able to come up with is the Ferrari Circuit Challenge(PP700) around Maggiore. If you can achieve the CRB it's $157,500 payout. A bit tricky. No weather but the car that I've been able to pull it off in is the F8 Tributo. She can be a wicked mistress, very fast but doesn't like to be overdriven.

Another 5 lapper is the Ferrari Challenge on Dragon for some challenging fun. F8 Tribuno for the win again. Payout is $135,000 with CRB.

TBH I haven't tried hardly any other Ferrari's. Probably should.

No issues ever since I set my windows background to a solid colour (in my case purple) and click p1 and p2 after the 1st race. I'm on ver 0.9 and have successfully run this 4x for at least 8hrs with no other window or pop-ups showing. I'm also on a 1440p resolution.

I enjoy riding my space-ship from time to time for 18mins and 800K but yeah I'm burnt out by it.

So for ***** and giggles I used the Tomahawk on 15 laps of Sardegna. Absolutely stupid fast and I'm sure there are Tomahawk pilots out there that can turn a faster lap than I. One stopper halfway thru, TCS 6, Fuel Map 6. Just destroying a set of inters to get to 8 laps. Looked like it was gonna be great and then...a lap after my pitstop GT7 froze and all I heard was my car going off the end of turn1 into the wall.

Tried it again and things were going even better. Final Lap and GT7 froze. Probably not gonna try that again. I think Kaz is watching me and hitting the reset button.

I got the Tomahawk X VGT down to 2089BHP, 553.87PP. It's possible to get it down to 540PP. I also used MadMax setup but tweaked some of the settings slightly to get a lower PP. On Tokyo East clockwise, You can average 1:25, and 1:19. Stay in 7th gear on every lap, step off the accelerator around every corner and your fuel consumption setting to 1, you won't need to refuel or change tyres for the whole 12 laps. You can lap the cars 4 times and average 17 Min races. So yeah pretty much 3 races per hour.

I've started running the 700pp championship twice a day. With clean races it works out to a little over 1 million credits per hour. The best thing? It seems to never rain in any of the races.

I got mine down to 502pp. I wish I knew what other setting I could change to get it to under 500 so I could enter it in more races.
It is shameful that this new planned update will no doubt make another attempt at fixing the X, which sucks because without the PP glitch of the car the car would otherwise have absolutely no use in the career. PD should really add Tommy events if they ever manage to fully fix the glitch.

Anyway, I hate the heavy rain in the Tokyo race as it makes the X undriveable for me, however the Spa 60 minutes it seems to only lightly drizzle here and there and never fully downpours making it easy to control the X and still make a decent chunk of change for the time invested.

Well done on getting it down to 502PP. I just took MadMax tune and tweaked it slightly to lower than what he had.

Everything in the settings affects the PP of any car. Even the damping ratios, toe angle, and camber all affect your PP.

On the contrary for me, I find the X VGT easy to drive in the rain. Intermediate tyres do the trick, and I stay in 7th all the way to the 12th line.

This car drives with worn fully red tyres on Tokyo in the rain at insane speeds round corners. This car is so stable, no TC is ever needed.

Same here, it just feels squirrely, which is unfortunate as it has always been a favorite of mine

So now that the only way to make money, is the AFK script, can someone give me a hint, how to make it work? I set up everything according to instructions, run the script.....aaand nothing happens. :(

Edit: Never mind...Instructions just do not say, the script needs to be run as admin.
Edit2: Actually the script does one race and then it stops. :banghead:
