Thanks 🙂

I had some help from @CoenRSD earlier this evening with the tune and was able to get it working. Just had to mess around with the gearing a bit to get it to play ball.

Managed to earn enough to buy the Alpine and AMG from the LCD as well as the NSX Type R, Vette ZR1 and Audi R8 from the UCD. Going to be continuing the grind until they patch it :D. With Racing Hard tires and Fuel mode set to 2, you don't need to pit at all. Towards the end of my last few races, I was doing 1:35s around Tokyo.
That’s how I run it too. No stops. Level 3 with no assists Apart from Apex markers. I always run the Apex and turn in markers, can cut a lot off your times if you can follow them. It’s interesting the first couple of laps but after you start to get a dry line it’s a canter to the end. Spent over 15 million Tomahawk money already. Like lobster money, only better.

Stick @praiano63 tune on the NSX and Vette they are 🤩

Just got the Going the distance trophy. Over 8000 miles 😂 Im starting to think I may have a problem.

I’m doing the WTC800 with the F1500T-A.
it’s an easy track, with no weather changes. SO much easier to get the CRB than the WTC700 and only takes 25 mins.

Only 1 stop is needed if you use 5/6 fuel strategy at the beginning and use RH tyres.

I‘m sure there’s better settings for the car, but racing transmission adds the 5th gear and thus helps acceleration.

Sardenga WTC 800 is definately much more enjoyable than using SRT Tomahawk. I am actually using Honda NSX GT500 with Hard Tires. No tuning needed first 8 laps on Fuel Map 3 and rest on fuel map 1. It is great, enjoyable and doesn't feel like cheesing because if you screw up too much you will end up on 7th or something place.

But i would love to try other new races. Do you have good recommendations for cars and stups LeMans and Tokyo races? (other than SRT Tomahawk etc) I prefer using real cars.

No mate. Been using it all day and just bought the legendary McLaren. Jumped up from collectors level 34 to 40 with one car so collectors level must be attached to price. Also bought the original AMG and the Alpine from legendary today. Got a pile of invitations to do tomorrow with Tomahawk money 😂
Got a list of settings for the Tomahawk?

Can someone please direct me on how to glitch the Tomahawk X to get it within the parameters for the Tokyo Expressway race?

Thanks 🙂
I've managed to get it less with front max ballast, power restricted to min and all gears to lowest and hard comfort tyres. It's useless in the wet imo. Looking for something more stable as I'm picking up penalties most corners 😂

For me its a joke that eve the 100€ 25hth Anniversary edition does not include like 20m credits, to buy at least 1 legendary car.

Even with 875.000 credits per hour like described, i dont want to grind for ~25hours
In hindsight, the 25th Ed wasn't worth it. Nice tin, 3 so so cars and 1m credits don't warrant the premium. Now if PD allowed you to play offline, the disc wouldn't be worthless in years to come when the servers shut

I haven't done the Tomahawk deal yet. I do see an update came out yesterday. Did the glitch get nerfed?

I've just been doing the Sardegna race with the McLaren 650s GT3. Very enjoyable. Just a mid level turbo and short shift everywhere except run out 6th gear on the two straights. Should win by 10 seconds or so.

Still trying to figure out the LaSarthe Race. I know I'm going to find just the right combination here pretty soon. I tried putting on wets in anticipation of rain and got duped. Rain never came, burned em off early, lost a bunch of time. Haha

No. If it had been we would have mentioned it in the update article, and not mentioned it in this article that came out after the update.

I’ve not run it since the update but generally it was end of lap two for wets or intermediates depending how bad the rain is on the radar, then lap 5 for dry tyres when a dry line was appearing. I usually just kept my fuel at 5 or 6 until last stop then change to 1. I found using a group 4 car the best, particularly the Alfa gr4.
I’ve seen it being said on here the chances of a full dry race has went up since the update. I’ve been grinding the Tomahawk Tokyo and the Sardegna road course with the GT500 NSX. Way more enjoyable race but slightly less money and takes longer as Tokyo gets boring quickly.

Tryed it to see what all the fuzz whas about but no I won`t do it again. Just boring. Those new Tokyo-layouts is not on my toplist while the first Tokyo-layout in GT4 was a wery good track.

I`ll continue to set up 30min races at Le Mans using hotted up classics. Like now in a -71 Pantera, both fun & earning money at the same time

Why does it all involve doing the same race over an hour? How about a genius idea that only Einstein could think of? Like a championship with 5-10 races paying out 50-300k a race win ( depending on the level of the championship) and a million or two for coming top of the championship? If only PDI did something like this before where they could look for inspiration.

Famine.. in your opinion.. do you think they could fix the glitch in the next 24 hours? 🤔

It's a holiday in most territories tomorrow, but not Japan obviously, how likely is it PD puts out a patch to fix the glitch tomorrow?

Only just bought and tuned the Tomahawk X for the race... hoping I have the weekend to grind in it.

That would probably be my route or try to get most golds in the circuit experience/missions, that gives the player lots of money!

Quite easy to make money now, and also in fun way, like both Tokyo expressway and la sarthe, easy money and fun doing those races, i hope they add more to races like this, i have runned Tokyo expressway 3 times 2 times with Nissan silvia gr4 car and once with aston Martin db11, i have messed up all 3 races, but manage 2nd in all 3, good for 495k each can’t really complain about that

Have not tried the championchips after the update 1,11, the last 3 championchips has almost double in rewards, might also be worth doing now

Playing around at Sardegna last night with a detuned GR2 GTR. I can 1 stop that race running #1 on fuel management. I can't set the fastest lap but having to only pit once obviously makes a huge difference. Car isn't as fast on the straights but lightening quick around corners compared to the other cars.

I tried Tokyo with the 2 GR 3 cars....Beetle and Supra. I'm obviously doing something wrong with regards to set up. The pack pulls away from me instantly.

I doubt it's significant enough to cause an expedited patch. It'll be in the next scheduled update or the one after that, or before the next time any PP-limited races are scheduled for Daily Races or the next GTWS season.

Which Group 2 GTR did you use,the GT500`08 or the Nismo GT500`16? I cant make up my mind which i prefer.I do have a soft spot for JDM cars especially the touring car types.
I did the Tokyo race with the Supra GT500 pre order car.Intermediates with stock gearbox to keep the pp within range, fuel map on 1 all through the race with no pit stop.Slow and steady, caught up with the leaders around lap 5,wobbled around a bit on the last few laps due to worn tyres.I reckon i could pit for tyres and still win just, and im not what you would call a`fast`driver by any stretch. My best lap with the Tomahawk X was around 1.30ish and i was chuffed to bits with it.lol
