They have to pull something incredible off after the absolutely horrible and unbelievable stupid Kinect *insert censored words here*.

I'm thinking the same  modern Star Wars games always sound great then are mostly terrible. At least with Star Trek games you expect them to be terrible and then sometimes one or two will surprise you!

I've pretty much lost all enthusiasm for anything Star Wars related apart from the first two (or maybe three) films and Kotor. There are some other good games out there (which I'm sure Syntax error can educate me on), but enough is enough.

Edit: Now that I think about it, I can remember enjoying the demo for some RTS, but I never tried the full game. Battlefront was supposedly good too, but I never had it.

Frostyboys
so is this gonna be a chat room during E3 too?

Edit: Good news: Valve is at E3 this year

Hopefully with the announcement the world has been waiting for.

Keep dreaming.

New stuff about new Forza:

- Forza Motorsport 4 physics optimized for off-road
- 65 grounds like mud, gravel, grass, tarmac etc.
- reduced damage
- open world with dynamic day/night
- colorado environment/panorama with detailed foresight
- festivel with a huge drivable area and car service stations, paintshops, car dealers etc. on it
- events like mustang vs. mustang or racecar vs. jet

The games I hope make it to E3 are SimCity and GTA V. Those are pretty much the only ones im following.

Edit: And now Forza Horizon because of the above post.

Forza 4 physics = count me in. Also, where did you get the picture from?

Yeah, when the press conferences are live there will probably lots to discuss as they go through it.

Forza Horizon is looking like a Test Drive Offroad / Motorstorm kinda deal, pretty interesting like when PD when off and made TT.

The SW games that I've enjoyed the most are the flying games. I wish there would be a new Rogue Squadron or X-Wing vs. Tie Fighter. Flying games in general seem to be out of style though for some reason.

Rockstar won't be there. They don't like E3...in fact, when WAS the last time they were at E3? Was it for LA Noir? Or was that the other LA Noir developer?

Answer: 2009 when they announced Agent...before that...I think it was when they announced GTA Vice City...or GTAIII...they REALLY don't like E3.

Curse you americans with your stupid Timezones, Ill have to wake up at 4am for the Sony Conference /iSad

Nintendo can have all of my money. That controller does a lot, perhaps too much.

It doubles as a universal remote! How am I not going to like that?

It will be chat-roulette all over. *Penises, penises everywhere...*

Love the way they've taken an Xbox controller and just swapped the right stick and the A, B, X and Y buttons around. The letters are even the same, just in different places! Really creative Nintendo...

If it's not broken don't fix it. There's only so many ways you can configure a controller.

Short of Kinect and some of the more advanced HID's that is as good as its going to get for consoles without hooking up a keyboard and mouse.

The letters are not unique to anyone, for if they were Sega would have sued everyone by now.

I give it to Sony for creating button labelling which at least was pretty unique (square, circle, triangle, cross). I bet Nin would claim they own the Z trigger :sly:

Copying the 360 controller seems to be in vogue these days, lots of the 3rd party controllers copy it even if they are for PS3 / PC. I don't see what's so special about it, when I've used them they feel heavy, stiff and rather large.

I guess Nintendo already doesn't have any confidence in their tablet controller

You mean the 360 did the "ABXY" thing first?

No, they didn't. Sega did with the Dreamcast, or, you can go back a little bit further with the color scheme and the same buttons with the Super Famicom. All of these nitpicking arguments are invalid.

Oh, and fun fact: the buttons are arranged the same way as on the Super Famicom.

Jeez chill, I meant the shape and general layout... not the letters! I couldn't give a crap about those.
