Which is still wrong.

It's what you're used to I guess. When I first got a 360 the controller felt pretty nice and after an hour or so I'd adapted to it and it was quite comfortable. Then I go back to a DS3 because I want to play something of the PS3 and it feels small and awkward, and uncomfortable in my hands.

Now that I reguarly play both, the 360's controller is still the best. I prefer the slightly bigger size and the DS3 always makes me feel like it's designed for people with really small hands. Which is great if you're, say, 7.

PS3 controller has a much better D Pad. Xbox has much better triggers.
Both have there bonuses.

I'm getting wii u day one btw.

I don't know why Sony thought it'd be a good idea to tweak the DS2 into the DS3; the shoulder buttons aren't as accommodating as they once were because the arch is flattened. That was just a horrible idea from jump street.

You want something that will make you feel manly? Use the original Duke controller for the Xbox. :P

Does any one suspect that the reason why Nintendo didn't want to sell the tablet separately was because of the WiiU Pro controller filling the need for multiple controllers in multiplayer games?

PS+ revamp or new features confirmed. As a Plus subscriber since day 1 I'm excited to see what they have in store.

Personally i'm a little concerned, but then I really like the free stuff I get from PS+, i'm a big fan of minis and indie games but there's some "proper" big games turn up too, such as Shift:2 and Far Cry 2 fairly recently.

I hope they don't break this formula. Although something that permanently unlocks the games so far rather than making them dependent on PS+ membership would be nice, if it *is* a big revamp.

I've noticed some odd trends with Playstation Plus lately though, for example in the UK they gave away Tomb Raider: Underworld a while back, but in the last week it's turned up again at the "discounted" price of something like £9.59. Perhaps to pick up on the interest in the new game, but still, that's a little stinky.

Looks like if the PS3 controller and the Xbox 360 controller had a love child...That thing's gonna kill hands with both thumb sticks at the top. That's why Xbox staggered theirs and PS3 just has them at the bottom...less of a workout....also...I can see people accidentally hitting some buttons.

Rumored leaked Dead Space 3 info.....

-Co-op confirmed

-No competitive multiplayer in DS3

-Now has universal ammo pickups

-Cover system added

-Co-op will have different cut-scenes and interactions between Isaac and Carver.

-Zero space gravity section and dark corridors will be present as they were in previous Dead Space titles.

-Fodders & Feeders are a new type of necromorphs.

-Visceral games calls these new necromorphs “The snow beast”.

-Nexus Feeders is a 30 story tall centipede necromorph. This is “what happens when a human isn’t actually infected by a Swarm or by a Divider heads”

-Icy Planet is called Tau Volantis,

-Fodder transform into two different necromorphs depending on how you kill them

-Ammo drops are more plentiful

They want DS3 to be less linear than 2&1;be able to explore large environments and find “unique beta missions” that aren’t required to complete the main game
You can slap different guns together like a Plasma cutter/Ripper combo,Visceral didn’t say “how exactly these weapon mods work” but GI noticed enemies drop Scrap metal and ‘tungsten’ now.

We'll see how it turns out, but this image from gaf might turn out to be mine soon if the horror aspect is diminished....

Similarity cannot be WRONG. The shape outline is nearly identical.

Although the Playstation controller could have longer sides (my palms hang off the edges) I have been spoiled by its super lightness. I'm using the non rumble SIXAXIS and boy is that thing light, now when I pick up a DS2 or 360 controller they feel really heavy.

That's because it was never Sony's intention to use the DS2 as the template for the DS3.

The PS3's final controller was a hastily put together compromise after the controller they really wanted to use got laughed out of the room. That's also why they stuck the motion sensing in it as a gimmick at the last minute.

Remember this?

That thing felt like you were holding a tortoise, obviously the focus group were all Olympic swimmers. :ouch:

No such problems here. :sly:

Incidentally, I'm thinking of going.

Might be a good idea because if nothing about the PS4 comes out here its more likely to happen there.

Robin.

If I can make it, I'll go and post some updates on the forum. Probably more likely to focus on the games rather than consoles though.

E3 2012: Cage to reveal Beyond at Sony presser

Quantic Dream’s next game after Heavy Rain will be called Beyond, MCV understands.

It is expected that studio boss David Cage will take to the stage at Sony’s E3 press event tomorrow morning (2am UK time) to debut the title, US publishing sources have told MCV.

As with Heavy Rain, it will be narrative based and use motion-captured actors to give a sense of real-world immersion. What we also know is that the game will be a Sony exclusive.

Screens.

Is there any way to see the presentations live?

The xbox even is live on xbox live in 35 mins. There is an app to download on your xbox so you can stream it. If you can't do that then most sites like ign will be streaming live as well.
