I played ETS 2 during the weekend at my cousins notebook (my PC barely can run the 1st game) with update 1.8.2.5. The game is great! The only complaint I had was about the AI, but is seems like 1.9 is going to fix it.
Now all I need is a new PC to run it at home... I wish I would get money as easy as I get in videogames.
At least when you get a new PC you can run other new sims too... AC, rF2, pCARS... etc.
There is a free trial, right? I got to try it.
Yes, but for 8 usd pocket money. Come on...
I'm not sure if I can run it, as Windows 8(.0) isn't listed on the site.Yes, but for 8 usd pocket money. Come on...
LF's talking about VoiceAttack.Where is ETS2 for $8? I got it off of Steam for $30 :|
I have tried ETS2 on both 7, 8 and 8.1. It works.
I'm not sure if I can run it, as Windows 8(.0) isn't listed on the site.
Ah, OK.Me and Dean are talking about VoiceAttack, mate.
It's probably a good programme, but for me, it can't really register anything but "calculator".It's not a driver but a normal program, so if it works on Win7 (it does!) than it will work in Win8 (any version except RT) too.

Your tutorial, on the MUI change, in the VoiceAttack thread really helped me out, as it now works like a charm and can very easily understand me! Time to try it out in ETS2 I guess. :tup:Than you might need to train the Microsoft Speech Engine to learn your dialect.
I guess I have a better pronunciation than you do, as I can use the untrained engine.
I just made a complete new profile for ETS two and wrote my own command keywords, adding an action to each one. It was as simple as that for me.

So, today I got a new keyboard. The Logitech G19S. I'm going to try and see how good the macro keys are for playing this game. I'm imagining like VoiceAttack, but without having to speak.
The G19 sucked donkeywood. I kept missing keystrokes with it and the screen is very easily scratched. Also the thing is not reggid and bends easily, this isn't ideal when typing as the travel wil differ per key and als the bounce of the keyboard.
I now own a Razer Blackwidow Ultimate with Cherry Blue keys, and I can't be happier.
So far, I really love it. But each to their own.
Loved it too and used it for months. Just don't use it for World of Warcraft type games, that need repeated keypresses. Not registering a key press can mean being hit and getting killed, or hitting and killing in the nick of time
Enjoy your purchase though.
