Just finished the Manu Cup race on 9th, yet in the results i am at 8th, seems they implemented some kind of disqualifying, as Gerd, who ended up less than 3s on 1st is on 18th, with 0 points.

Again, all started with C/S ratings

That's interesting, as the drop in points from 2nd to 3rd is too big - twice as big as it should be. It's like he finished in 3rd but disconnected and ended up on zero points, but other drivers didn't move up to account for his position change. Could you check on it tomorrow and see if his or your points change once everything is updated? I think he should have 277/278pt from that race.

Yeah, I don't know either. All the other points are spot on for what I'd expect (largest error is 1.2% for 17th, down to 0.014% for 10th) if there was another car in 3rd scoring 277/278pt.

Weird that the game gets your points different by 1 in different places. It's a rounding error for sure, but I don't know where it rounds it

No problem! I'll have to scroll through the standings to find each user. Second place got 481 points, so you're pretty darn accurate so far. I'll find out the rest tonight.

I am zoning in on the DR boundaries now though, and that particular grid has been very helpful 👍

So, I was searching that guy, who disconnected/disqualified yesterday and he has 0 points, other points are as in those pics +/- 1 point.

Other thing i noticed, his SR is still S, that E after race is meant to be just for the race itself, it seems.

FYI: Once you've been matched, look at the Race Details window to see what points will be awarded for which finishing position.

No, they're identical. Up until now we've only been able to see them post-race, so the fact you've highlighted there is exceptionally helpful, but the numbers always have the odd one here or there rounded in an odd manner.

In fact I suspect it's rounded twice - after the group strength calculation, and after the position calculation - but it doesn't affect much.

Incidentally, was that an entirely DR B lobby?

Edit: Whoah, also, that's the first time I've seen points for 20th... Did that actually happen after the race?

I didn't really pay attention to the lobby, but I don't think it was all DR B... and I didn't take any screenshots of anything else.
After the race, I only checked that my 444 points for 12th is what had been announced before the race... but now, the rankings show only 418 points!?

It's consistent with a very high standard DR B lobby.

Points are fluctuating a bit in range of +- 6 or 7 points. Interesting is, that room where is not a full roster (due whatever reason) cuts points for winner by as many places as how many are missing - my NC 18 drivers race, winner gets as many points as 3rd in my MC full room race.

Got up to a c driver rating. Q 6 at brands today. Some cock smashes me off at paddock hill, rejoin dead last and now back down to a d. All done with online racing. Waste of time. Awaiting the new uograde with much anticipation.

Had my worst experience online so far in the Nations Cup race last night on Interlagos.



Qualified in 3rd. Saw the guy who started first intentionally cut the first corner and pull out a 3-4 second gap. (Would have got a 15+ second penalty), but this put him in clear air and he was able to pull away and then hold that gap for most of the race, Got the win with no penalty in the end as it would have whittled down by the end.



The guy who finished second punted off 3 cars in the first 2 laps and wasn't penalised.



I finished 5th after getting hit on each of the last 3 laps by the same guy going into the turn 4 sharp right hander after the straight. I hit the same braking point each time which allowed me to hit the apex and accelerate out, probably a slightly slower entry speed than optimal, but much faster overall than a late BP and slow exit. He just never adjusted his braking to account for my different braking point to his own, being the car in front it is his job to avoid the collision.



The online penalty system needs to change. Either auto slow and ghost cars and lock in the penalties at the end of each lap. There is no way you should be able to intentionally hit people or cut corners and be able to drop off the time penalties.

Horror, I'm a high B/S player an normally I get between 350-850 points per race. Yesterday I was the only B-Driver in a field full of A and S. No chance at all with the Cayman at Mount Panorama. Qualifying 20th, race 18th (after 2 guys cancelled the race). I get 158 points...it's hard. Driving better than normal and get lousy 150 points....I think that I get more wins and points as a low B-Driver than if I'm a high B-Driver...Winning doesn't happen anymore, there are always 2-3 A-Driver which take the win. as a low B-Driver I won sometimes, hahaha

So does it mean that the SR rating changes over time, it goes up and it goes down with each race? Does the DR rating fluctuate as well?

Why is it called a Nation's Cup? I assumed it would have me race only people from my country but got Brazil and Canada in there as well.

I tend to stay away from the Sport races but I was bored last night and did one Nations Cup race. The usual stubborn drivers bumping you back when you pass them because they're sore losers and when you make a little mistake making a bump they ram you off the road like it was a murder. I'll stick to my SNAIL league thank you.

You're ranked among people from your nation only.

Same as the manufacturers' cup where you race a mixed field but only get ranked among people driving the same car.

Well for both the Manufacturer's Cup and the Nation's Cup races tonight, these were the results...

So far that's 3 disco's this week alone. And of course, 0 points in all 3. My internet connection was fine... 79mbps down, 6.5 up. Been chatting with a few people and it's not an isolated incident as I've been told mass disco's (19/20) happened this week. Most disappointed as Lake Mag is my favourite track, and I do fairly well at Interlagos as well.

I managed to do the qualify, but the race never started.

It was the second time it happenned to me. At least, as everyone gets disconnected and 0 points, your DR doesnt drop.

On GT Sport, I've been able to find Manufacturer and National points for the season I'm currently running, but I've not been able to find results for previous seasons. Is there a way to find past points race results and past season points results?

When you look at the main points standings for either of the championships page there’s a drop down menu on the left where you can look at all the previous seasons, but the manufacturers one has a problem (at least last time I looked) where it will only show the standings of the manufacturer you’re currently signed up with, not the one you raced during that season, but it will still list the correct points totals and your rank for your correct manufacturer, you just can’t look at the standings.

On another note, I’m disappointed I’m going to miss out on the first Top 24 superstar race tonight, am looking forward to seeing how that will go. Why do you think 24 is the number, is it just assuming 4 people won’t show up or is the field size going to be increased?

Had a great run in the final race of Season7 of the Nations Cup. Managed to score a 2nd place.


Round 1 at the new Kyoto track was difficult and I was only able to climb the field from 16th when others spun off. Still managed to get just outside the top 10.

Manufacturers at Interlagos showed the Megane and Scirocco are still meta in Gr.4. I managed to prevent a total walkover by shoving my Cayman into 4th place, behind 3 VWs and ahead of 2 Meganes.
