Which manufacturer will you sign your contract with?

Had a nice run in the Lambo yesterday, here is the main action, the rest is just me making silly mistakes, eventually knuckling down and pulling out a 9 second lead, close but clean! Guy in 2nd got hit off track I think but he did make it back to 2nd place, so kudos to him! (or her).
 
Who else is sick of seeing JUN_JEEEEN on top all the bloody time? I’m nowhere near any good but surely someone else can challenge him?
 
New to this series I’m trying to under stand how some guys have really high points and I only seem to end up with 1600-2000 vs their 5000-6000 even with all first and second place finishes?

It’s all dependent on your driver rating and sportsmanship and who you’re racing against. The higher they are the more points you’ll get in your races. And the top 24 superstar race at the end gets the top guys like 3x points so they all earn like 3000 points in that race.

Actually it's not only 3x points, but there's also a hard 2000 points base bonus as well for taking part in this one. And those were full of S/S drivers yesterday.

I just don’t get it
Last manufactures race tonight I qualify 1st race starts and second place catches me in turn 3 so I stay all the way to the right to give him room and then I was going to let him by and try and chase him down when he gets beside me he puts me into the wall and the only thing I can think of is he was mad I out qualified him by 1/2 a second and figured that’s the only way he could win but that didn’t happen

I can`t get my head around this strategy either, when I was a D rated driver I expected dive bombers at the first corner but now that I race with B`s and C`s I thought it would improve but it seems that is not the case, they just put you in the wall more efficiently!

To be fair though, the majority are very fair and leave room, I always try to, but some will repeatedly try and take you out if you get a run on them along the straight - Suzuka back straight up the hill for example

Last night I didn`t even bother racing, watched music videos from the 80`s instead, much more satisfyling!
 
The 24 drivers with the highest DR, queing for the race at that time, will be selected.you probarly need to be at least DR S, though it says DR A.
 
Okay, time for a really really really newbie question about the fia cups.
I would really like to compete / get my car smashed in the wall by magneticly charged torpedo drivers in these series, but... How do I qualify for this?


Every single day I look , I cannot select one of the timeslots to compete, they stay grey. Did I miss something or did I had to register eg somewhere? Just don't get it :confused::confused::confused:. Can you guys/girls help me out a bit?

You can't register for a race until 15 minutes before it starts. When you select a timeslot there should be a timer for when registration opens.

Ok, sofar my first foray in this racing type.
Nations cup, Hockenheim GP Audi TT Cup, got disconected a second before qualification started :grumpy:, bummer, was looking forward to that.

Oh well, there is allways the other one.. Brands GP track.
So, got in the Cayman, Qualified 7 (what carnage is that btw), after de start and first corner carnage again, got up to 4th but got buttslamed in the next lap by an Austrian who eventually finished 3rd or 4th.

Made a mistake myself, back to 11th, rammed of on the straight (why ?) 14th and eventualy finished 7th with around 130 points and my SR is back in B thank goodness.

Overall impression, not much different from the daily races, but a nice addition. If I ever get up to a higher level I guess it should be more fun
 
Couple of questions I'm hoping can be answered:

1) Why are some people getting 1600 points or more for a race and I'm only getting 800-1100 points for winning my races? Is it because I am driver rating B while they are A or S?

2) Is there any way to know how many people took part in the events or scroll through faster? I found there are 1828 who scored at least 1 point by pressing next 25 repeatedly UK drivers but it would take forever to go through the amount of people in the world. I can't find any rankings on the website it's just reports of something from last year...

1) Yes, points depend on th DR rate of all drivers in the lobby.

2) There's no other way to do it in the game. Maybe there will be a website at some point, something like the kudosprime DR and SR stats.

I have a similar problem, GT website is blocked for me as well.
Where do you look up the daily races?
