The Fiat 500R

The Fiat 500R is the slowest car found in GT2. Stock it has 21hp, when fully suped it goes to about 130hp(i forget). My friends love this car just becasue of how slow it is :odd: . If any1 could be botherd buy it and try it 4 yourself and tell me wat u think.

Not exciting, but underrated. How many other small rear-engined cars can you drive in the game...the 500R and the Subie 360.

Yeah, it's a pain to drive with only 21hp, but fully mod it and you'll have a lot more fun.

You'd be surprised how many faster cars it can embarass, especially when fully modded.

I call it either "The Fart Beast" or "The Ride-On Road mower".

But she's still a little beauty.

I like going against my Mates on Pikes Peak Uphill in untuned Beasts. It rules.

You smack them into the wall, and take the lead. That means that you've won.

what about the Mazda az-1 aspec, and the midget. I think they are slower. i like the way the 500r looks, kinda like the old VW bettles

I think its crazy, I'd pick this over any other car in the game.....NOT..... I've never seen such a piece of garbage. Draken Pendragon, how can your friends love this cr@p?

We love it because it is Cr@p! The races become extremely competitive since there is the simple fact that if you make one mistake, like run into a wall or spin out, then thats the end for you.

Whereas when you use other cars like the Gtone race car Vs the R390 Race, you will easily be able to pull back into the lead.

You see what I'm saying here?

Its also funny seeing a crap car just put-put along....

500R Baby! I love that little beggar, I think it does 0-60 in a little under a minute and a half... I'll have to go check. Stumbled across the little beauty looking for the slowest car in the game. Me and my friends love to have races with em... now that's a challenge. I have a stock one and a modded one in the garage currently. 130 HP, look out!

Sure the fiat dose make the races a little more competitive but it takes so long just complete one lap of any course.

If u want a car that is a little slower than the 500R then look for the Midget2 fully loaded it gets about 85bhp i think.

one of the other slowest cars in the game has got to be the subaru 360 but completly modified u can get just above 140hp (I think) but at very high rpm. So i decided to test the 400 m times of the little 500r (about 1000lbs with weight reduction) and the very little 360 ( about 800lbs with weight reduction) and i wanted to see who got better times, the best i got the 500r to go was a 16.4 somthing but then i tried the subaru and it did a bit over 20, but i realized it was because even though i held the gas down from the start it could only launch at 4000 rpm ( i could red line the 500r) so i tried my best to acuratly clock its 400m time on the 1000m track so i could redline it at launch and it did a 17.5 somthing, so even though the little subie is much lighter and more hp, that little 0.3L is nothing compared to the 500r's 0.5L. :D

Good idea powripper. Very nice.
But next time, try the 360 vs the Midget.
Coz the Midget is around the same a the 500R except that its got a ute tray.

Ever noticed that the 500R and the 360 look vaguely similar? Besides the Beach-car looks (360) and the Ugly headlights (500R)?

You could do far worse than the Fiat 500R.

Toyota Prius = 63hp max.
Midget II = 82hp max.
Opti Club Sports (2) = 82hp max.
Move CX '95 = 85hp max.
Life T (2) = 117/118hp max.
Honda/Mugen Beat (4) = 128hp max.
Clio 16v = 126hp max
Selvo Mode - 115hp max

Do the math:
Subie 360: 142hp / 861lbs = 6.06 lb/hp
Fiat 500R: 138hp / 1020lbs = 7.39 lb/hp
An example: Honda S2000 (a great car): 364hp / 2332lb = 6.41lb/hp

Raise the roof, the 360's coming to town!

Are we actually measuring by HP when Tuned up?

Coz I drive stock cars here. If you find a car worse than the 360, Midget or 500R please tell me asap.

You only play around with stock cars in GT2? You know, there is that "tune" button at every manufactuer...if I want to drive stock cars, I'll hop in my '93 Corolla.

Perhaps I'm just crazy, but I like collecting all the rare, bizzare little sucky cars in GT2. Is there a list of all the rare cars on the GT2 forum somewhere that I may have missed?

Yeh me too thats the point of GT2 to me all those stoopid n rare cars to get, by the way I think the 500 is a total classic one of the all time great cars motoring for the masses :P

They're a hoot to drive in the wet on old tyres - you can slide them at speeds so slow you can step out of the car if it gets a bit hairy.

Haha, me and my friends refer to the 500R as the "Cronie-mobile" "hot-box" or "ghetto-cruiser". Tho it is slow, it is so fun to drive, the thing doesn't move until 2000 r.p.m. and thats funny.

I'm pretty sure it's actually made by Daihatsu.

But anyway, the "slowest car of the game" -prize in GT2 is shared by three cars in my opinion: Fiat 500R, Daihatsu Midget and Subaru 360. They're all so good.

Yeah, that is weird. I've been holding off on the new GT2 threads because there hasn't been much in the ways of replies. On the other hand, many threads have already started about several popular cars already...they've just faded away.

However, it's nothing a search feature couldn't find.

PD couldn't either. They spelled it "Capucino"...close, but it's missing a "c" and a "p".

They misspell it in GT 2 when you are in one of the "cities" at the bottom of the screen to save space probably.
