besides the FGT, yes there are 2. Both under the Ferrari dealer for 10 and 12 million credits.

Good OP, except that you don't want the Veyron? I could only say I don't want it standard, anyway, lot of hate for the Veyron here, don't know why.

According to this* website there are 1100 models. click 'Japan' 518 are left, of those, plenty are great cars, but some of them are just way too much.

All but 3 Mazda MX-5s
All but 3 Honda NSXs
All but 1 Mitsubishi 3000GTs
All but 1 of each Mitsubishi Evos (I-X)
and most important of all
All but 1 of EACH type of Skyline (R34, R35, ect)

I think those are the top 5 offenders without doing a proper count, I'm guessing that alone would remove around 100 duplicate cars from the game.

Anyone can tell you that Ferrari makes Formula 1 cars, not Indy cars. Basic researching and problem-solving, have you ever heard of it?

And that would leave more space to make more premium cockpit views :D
Got my vote 👍

I haven't researched or watch that style of racing, so I didn't know there was a difference. Honest mistake. But yes I do mean F1

There is. Indy cars have more power, but less downforce and race around oval tracks most of the time. Most of them are similar, which makes it boring to watch because it's hard to tell Chicagoland from Michigan. However, the home of the world-famous Indy 500 looks nothing like a regular tri-oval and thus is easily very recognizable.

F1 cars have less power but more downforce and they race around highly technical tracks, and some of the best-known race courses in the world have been raced on annually by F1 drivers worldwide.

Also, before any of the Moderators see, you might want to fix your double-post.

Ehm, F1 cars have actually more power than Indy cars.....

Indy car - 650hp 10300rpm
F1 - 950hp v10, 730 v8 & the v6 turbo of the future is unknown 18000rpm plus high downforce
So big difference, and cost are higher in f1 I think

Costs are much higher in F1.
Here are some details about the next generation:
In summary the 2014 engine rules mandate a 90-degree V6 engine of 1.6 litres, with a fixed crankshaft axis and chassis/gearbox mounting points. The engine can have a single turbo charger, which must be mounted along the cars centreline. Use of KERS is extended with a greater capacity for the Kinetic system (as used currently) as well as the introduction of a Thermal Energy Recovery System (TERS). Further green initiatives are caps on fuel flow and revs limited to 15,000rpm. Despite having a smaller cubic capacity and fuel allocation, the engine will produce the same maximum power as the current 2.4l V8 engines, albeit only when the Energy Recovery Systems are in use.
They'll be faaaaaaar away from the turbo engines of the 80s (up to 1400hp).

Kers and DRS are coming to road cars apparently with both Ferrari and Mclaren applying it to there next flagship hypercars. Wonder how they could apply these in GT6 if F70 and P12 are in the game? Just a thought

I imagine that it would work like the Nitrous system in GT4, but it would have to be recharged in order to use it again.

Rephrase the OP post maybe?

I think it should be focused on maybe 5 to be added and 5 to get replaced. That seems more feasible than having people yammer on about how obnoxious/great something is. Just my opinion. But, here goes.

REMOVE:
~JDM Year/Model alternatives. Three MX-5's paint the picture of development well enough.
~The Red Bull X2010/X2011 (X1) Game Breaker.
~Jay Leno Troll Car. *Tank
~Ferrari F1 Cars. Do F1 Fully, or let it go.
~Nascar. My favorite racing series. But, like F1, do it all, or let it go.

REPLACE WITH:
~Porsche (?) Licensing is the real issue here.
~More LMP Race Cars. Delta Wing.
~Volvo. Watch Top Gear and get back to us Kaz. They're a blast.
~Gumpert Apollo. Filed for bankruptcy, but hey... that is a beautiful car.
~Koenigsegg Polar opposite of Volvo. Must be included in the next game if they can contend with the production car speed record with the Agera R.

Would Kers and DRS even do much for a road car? It'd be like an over-boost button, I suppose it's add maybe maximum extra top speed of 15MPH, but it'd be minimal compared to like how it works on F1 I think.

Hate to be blunt, but the OP is fine...and this isn't a Wishlist.

There are plenty of cars in GT5 which we will all hopefully see in GT6 and this is to state what we can live without.

Ferrari also only allows them to race the F1 cars against each other in the contract. It's not PD's fault. Just be happy you have them at all.

It wasn't a request but info on the next gen supercars, Kers to me just seem like a hybrid system that gives the engine free power (at the cost of weight) and DRS would reduce drag on motorways (freeways) so more fuel efficient on long trips but when down, can still handle twisty back roads. It's not about power but efficiency, that why all teams are going with Kers next year compared with this years front runners.

Jay Leno Tank Car
X2010/X2011
Formula Gran Turismo
all fake cars!!
that's it

Anybody who want to let the Veyron go, surely can't drive it properly!

Subaru 360
X2010/2011
the midget.....
Honda life step van (I mean come on PD... Only van in the game and it's a pice of 🤬 )
Isuzu 4200R. (What the heck is this even??)

Why all fake cars? The Formula Gran Turismo is a very good car once you learn how to drive it and the Jay Leno Tank Car is hillarious fun online.

I think he means fake as not manufactured in the real world.

I know what he means. But he also said the he didn't want the Jay Leno Tank Car in GT6 I do know it's real maybe my my post wasn't clear enough.

Some fake cars are ok but Unnecessary like TC cars because there should just be that option for the original car. Like altezza touring, xj220 lm..... Etc.... anything that PD did I guess (covered in PS or PD logos). If jay Leno can drive his car, I want to too. And yeh I'd prefer either really F1s or Indys or even the old A1 racers that weren't around long (what ever country you live in, that's the one you get)

Different cars for different regions?

Don't flame me on my stance, but I'd like all the cars (AND more) in the next GT game. Why? Well, I usually draw all of the cars from each game, and try to replicate the colors and... I geek cars.
