1st - All FF should be banned, not only in GT5 but in real life as well, if after your 2nd or 3rd car you conciously went to buy a FF you should be fined a billion pounds, as sabine schmit once said "lifes too short for front wheel drive"
2nd - any stupid X2010/11 type cars
3rd - one off cars that stand out of context like the Ferrari F1, dont get me wrong i like F1 cars but one on its own is daft, a whole grid of ferraris simply looks wrong, either enough to have a varied grid or a livery editor is needed instead.
4th - K class cars, good only for getting a small amount of shopping home.
5th - Trucks, good only for getting red necks home.

Ive bought lots of FF cars in real life so id be so screwed.
P.S. K class cars may be able to do a 1 child school run as well as a small amount of shopping and im pretty sure most people can drive trucks not just red necks.

3 Ferrari F1 are a licensed car so no livery editor for that shape but maybe try to get a few othe F1s, The only even Brawn GP car for one.
4 Kei cars are ok but they live at that bottom of the garage so they can go
5 Trucks, not less but more. Hennessy Ford Raptop for one. (always use the engines if they add drivetrain swaps)

I don't mind having all the cars(including x201Xs and etc), but if people use them for online for ramming and etc. I just want a restrictor for x201X(example) without having to use PP limit all the time. Just check mark that x201X restriction and no more x201X runners(until obviously new host changes the settings and etc)

Alternatively, for the X1, PD should put it alongside the Ferrari F1s, karts, etc on the Restriction list, so people can only use the X1 if the host permits it. Anytime else, it's banned.

That ends up in the same but in an even more annoying way.
Nowadays the problem is solved by restricting higher PPs cars, but if it isn't implemented then some random kid joins with his X1 and wins the race. That doesn't ruin the experience for the rest though, because they can still run whatever they want, just not finish in first place.
With a X1-only restriction a "free roam" room can turn into 300mph-only races (via votes or the maker changing the settings in-game, making it X1-only but room name remains the same) while the guy who wanted to try a Supra has no choice but to leave the room and enter a spiral of rage.
The solution is to have more filters, display more information, allow more customization, and that the online system is completely modified overall.
For example fixed settings that can't be changed in-game (gametype, PP, etc.), which means no X1s when configured properly. For that the info should be displayed in the server browser (a tick for fixed rooms) and having a server filter for that as well (fixed rooms only, and different filters for gametype and PP).

Jeez. There's nothing wrong with GT5's variety of cars, its just the numbers are not balanced, some sectors have too little, and other area's have too much.
FF is very fun thank you, when you learn how to tune its epic, and good for competitive racing. Saying FF should be banned is silly, and just plain epic laughter to be honest from the second part.
The X Cars have a place, but not as online troll cars. Why not have a GT-style Red Bull X Fighters league?
The F1's are as they are due to licensing issues.
K Class, slow but amusing. You don't have to go fast to have fun.
Trucks are rather fun to drive and I like them.
