The five cars that you DO NOT want in GT6.

That wouldn't make sense since there are multiple manufacturers. 4 of them, correct?

Thats what i ment, So 1 Ford all liverys (for a few years), 1 Chevy and 1 Toyota........and 1 Dodge since there pulling out at the end of this season.

Not only that but what people often forget, didn't notice or simply ignore is that each of the cars from the same manufacturer has a uniquely modelled interior as well, so not just a different livery as is often suggested.
I don't think we need any more NASCAR cars since we just got another batch not that long ago and since they have to model an entirely different interior for each version it just takes too much time in my opinion.

Don't get me wrong, I actually like NASCAR being included yet I don't think it should be that huge a facor in a GT-game that each new season should be added from now on, and I think we can still enjoy the current cars in years to come, maybe add some versions without a livery if a livery editor should be added.

They don't take up BD space. I mean, really, there's one too many Veyrons in GT5, one too many X2010s (even just one would be okay, but, 5 super high-speed crashes is too many.)

I'm happy to see a bunch of Miatas, because Miatas are the most popular sports cars in the world. You know, the kind of car that you can autocross, set a new lap record in, and then drive home in?

You know, the car that has about 8 spec series...?

The car that's the most popular track car in the world?

Why remove Miatas? They're the true basis of Gran Turismo. They're the car that "Grassroots Motorsports magazine" praises as "the answer to every question."

Example:

"I want to reduce my lap times. What should I do?"

Buy a Miata.

"I want to join a competitive spec series. What should I do?"

Buy a Miata.

Mazda commercials say "More Mazdas are road-raced than any other car, on any given weekend;" Why? Mazda Miatas.

The Miatas are great cars, and, if there aren't Lancers, Miatas, or Civics (the cars I've actually driven in/raced against) why would I buy GT6? To drive some ridiculous X- car? That's for kids that don't like brake pedals. Kids that don't like brake pedals, tend to rear end me a LOT.

In fact, there are 11 models of Miata in GT5, spread across 23 years of production. There are also about 15 Lancer Evolution models, spread across 20 years of production. The names were changed, though, on the Miatas, to suit European/Asian/American market names, which wasn't done to the Evolutions.

And, I'm happy to say that I own EVERY Lancer Evolution model in the game, because they're my dream cars, and I'd love to compete in rally racing.

If you fail to understand that more Miatas are road-raced than any other car, on any given weekend, then you're a disappointment to motorsports, and I fail to understand what purpose GTP serves you.

yes yes great car i agree...but its not the ONLY one thats the point...thing is other cars could be in the game, like 5 miatas less 1 more bmw or a koenigsegg or whatever...there are too many despite the fact that its a great car

The only cars that I think should be taken out are just variants of some cars in the game such as the mazda mx-5 miatas & honda s2000s.
They have every type of the NA-gen MX-5 miata for 3 regions (Japan, Europe, USA), they should take out 2 of the regional miata types, I'm fine with only the japanese region MX-5s only tbh.
The same goes for the honda s2000s and any cars that have each type for multi-regions. It would help balance the car list variation wise.

Maybe get rid of the redbulls too, they wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't for some of the idiots on GT5 that like to ram people with them.

If it must have a veyron, it must be premium and supersport model.
Get rid of the redbulls, so pointless.
Max of 2 skylines per generation unless its a nismo modified model, the top of the line ones.
Who'll buy a normal GTR, when theres a v-spec from the beginning, who'll buy an NA supra when the turbo is there all along etc2.
All cars should have race modification option.
Just 1 Nascar model per manufacturer will do, or maybe when you buy one, u can choose optional livery. Same should go for JGTC cars as well.

too much variations of the same car, but I wouldn't mind seeing the Veyron even those two X1's in the new game :]...just lessen those same car variations

Besides the useless duplicates and variants I also don't want to see GT Academy in the game at all.

I don't want 5 of the same cars, I love the skyline as much as the next guy, but do we need to have it in the game over, and over? Just give us the sport models, thats all we care about, not any of this "Midnight Purple" crap, we should be able to buy the premium in that color.

Just tried to paint a Honda Element, I couldn't. I tried to get the PP up to compete in the 4wd Challenge, I couldn't. For those reasons I think it shouldn't be in the next iteration of GT.

The thing is a monster in races under 450PP, just like the Odyssey; and if it returns the paint glitch would likely be fixed.

I remember when I first started playing the game, (when it was first released - when there were no seasonals, and we had to work hard for credits...) that the GTR '07 was considerably cheaper, by a LOT compared to the Spec V '09. I'm not sure, but I think it was around 80k Cr. cheaper and trust me that's a lot. And because of my limited budget I opted for the GTR '07 and spent the rest of my money on mods.
So basically there is reason to have the models; there is a price difference - which makes all the difference in the way you'll play the game. I wasn't prepared to spend that extra credits when I could just improve my GTR for cheaper.

If you're referring to the older Skylines; BNR34s etc then my statement still applies; as performance is pretty similar to ~10hp for ~10k more so I'd always of picked the cheaper one (maybe even midrange) when starting out.

Here is mine;

1) X2010 - if the X2011 is there for same price X2010 should be removed.

2) Jay Leno Tank Car - it's too big to be any useful at any event. Just a troll car.

3) Kubelwagen - what's the point..?

4) Schimmwagen - again what's the point?

5) Nissan Leaf/Toyota Prius/Honda Insight/Boring Hybrid and EVs - anything that is as boring and soulless and mind numbingly dull should just be taken out. No enjoyment driving those at all (IMO).
Note: I didn't mention the Tesla or Citroën Concept, because they are actually fun and enjoyable to drive.

everyone is saying to get rid of the x1... why?that car single-handed completed b spec for me :)

How exactly did you do that, then, with the DTM series... Super GT500...?? European Classic Car...?? I don't doubt that it was an integral part of the B-spec grind, but, you'll survive without. It's a terribly annoying car.

...and that was fun for you, was it? The only reason most people used the X1 throughout B-Spec is because it was so utterly boring and the Bobs were idiots.

Recently had a private online race on the Nordschleife with 6 Tank Cars on Sports Hard tyres, epic fun.
It's also enormous fun to just drive in free practice, why does any car necessarily have to be useful for any event if there are plenty of others that are?

3) Kubelwagen - what's the point..?

There probably is no point, as mentioned above there are plenty of cars to be used for events making that having a few of these trivial oddities which can be used for other purposes a welcome change.
As with the Tank Car, I've had some fun races online, especially remembering a race where I beat an entire field of fully tuned Fiat 500's with my tuned Kubelwagen.
It's a lot of fun to drive these cars on the Eiger rally stages and I even got my PSN Drift Trophy (or whatever it's called) using a Kubelwagen so it had some use in game progress.

Not saying you should like these cars ofcourse, just that them providing fun to a lot of people (although that number is relatively small I guess) is all the reason needed to include them.
So there is no point, that's the whole point.

Make One Version of each car, regardless of difference. You can keep the Skyline GTR, but you only need one version to represent it.
