Developmental prototype ≠ concept car.
^ I definitely agree! Many people (even car fans!) often mistaken these two non-production car categories like they are the same thing!!! I always correct someone whenever some random person mentions it.
And if you don't like them because they're not street legal; well using that logic, lets just ditch every race car since none of those would qualify as road legal.
And let's diminish the amount of upgrades available as some of them would invalidate your car's legality.
Concept cars are imagination. They're designer's wet dreams. They're ideas brought to life, and the genesis of tomorrow's cutting edge technology.
To say that concept cars have no place in this game is ridiculous. Especially on the basis that they're not street cars and aren't technically real.
^ I share the same sentiment thou, however this is
Gran Turismo and KY is at the helm. It will be unlikely...
Then I guess we should take out the Corvette C7 concept with that logic.
^ I'd rather see this scheme as an option package or as an hard-to-find prize car.
We can also ditch that early 2001 GTR concept, because even though it's our earliest look at the eventual R35, since it's not really a road car, lets just ditch it.
^ I'd say, replace this GT-R Concept to the R390 Road-spec (aka. the Short-Tail). This R390 was first seen on GT2.
And the Honda Dualnote, which I think is a great car as it's hybrid system could work as the KERS system found in F1 cars as well as the new hybrid LM cars.
^ PD can replace this car to the HSV-010 Road Car instead.
Let's also get rid of the Ford GT 2002 Concept. Even though it's my favorite Ford GT and provided us our first look at the production car to follow, since it's just a dumb concept then we don't need it.
^ Then replace it with the GTX-1, it has more power and its a developmental prototype, not a showy concept car:
While we're at it, let's also get rid of the Tommykaira ZZII, since that's just a concept car as well.
^ It WAS a concept car, then it became a pre-production prototype.
The ZZII concept car was in GT2.
^ Plus, there were 2 types of ZZ-II's:
The Original (from GT2)
The Ver.2 (the one that everyone knows, GT3-GT5)
^ But alas! Not everyone knows that ASL (aka. Autobacs) just had a 2nd car! The ZZ-II is now called the ASL RS-01:
^ Since that "ZZ-II" belongs to ASL, TK can replace the ZZ-II with the ZZ-II EV by Green Lord Motors:
