The flaws of GTPSP

Like I keep saying despite the mixed review, I'm still excited for this game, it's Gran Turismo on the psp.

But that's not the point of this thread. With all the complaints about missing career mode, customizations, etc. Do you think Sony or Polyphony Digital will do something about it in the future? DLC (I highly doubt that). But what do you guys think?

And perhaps when the the leaked doc of ps2 games and dreamcast games coming to psn. Do u think sony will allow remote-play with those games? http://kotaku.com/5364828/ps2-dreamcast-games-may-come-to-psn-says-apparently-leaked-doc would be nice playing gt4 remotely

Kaz has already gone on record as saying that GT on PSP will not be getting any DLC. The game is what it is, warts 'n' all. I'm totally on a knife edge regarding this game. If I had a PSP, I'd probably get it. However, I sold my phat PSP ages ago for lack of games and play time that it got. Is it worth dropping £150 notes on a new 3000 and copy of the game, or £200 notes on a Go and free download? Depends on how many other games become available that I might enjoy.

I would love to be able to play PS2 games on the PSP but would it be possible? A DVD holds 9GB (I think), you couldn't get that on a PSP. If you can't play Gran Turismos or metal Gear Solids then, I'm out...

they probably cant improve the graphics engine for the PSP game anyways... so probably in a year or so... GTPSP sequel will come out with more features, new cars etc....

Nothing is missing from the game, like Nomino said it is what it is.

They can cut the frame rate to improve graphics and add 2 more cars on track.

I will be getting this game despite the subjective flaws of GTPSP. After playing GT2 on my PSP for a few hours last night and at work today I'm getting it. I also forgot how much i hate the last turn on Red Rock

No joke. Somehow, you will ALWAYS spin out on that turn, unless you are going under 30 MPH.

While I'm not happy about the complete lack of a career mode, I don't mind too badly. The only 4 random manufacturers per day thing really makes me angry though. I would have hoped they did away with random choices after the BS of doing an endurance race only to get a random car out of multiple choices (often the same one over and over again).
