Yeah, I also remembered why I really, really deeply felt that movie. It doesn't help that I just read an old e-mail from her recently, when I was diggin' up on some old e-mail accounts, from before all hell broke loose.

That feeling the movie conveys... it's SO true. 4 years on, and I still go by where she lived and my heart jumps a bit. And I remember...

My friend gave me both seasons of Spice & Wolf, I'm going to give him Steins;Gate and 5 Centimeters per second tomorrow.

If you got fansubs, be sure to know that the wolf's name is "Holo" (As you'll most likely have subs putting out "Horo"). There was some controversy when FUNimation first got it and in the sub and dub they had it as "Holo", when that's what was on the Japanese script. I heard in the anime, she even wrote her name as "Holo".

Reason for this, fansubbers heard "Horo" because the Japanese have trouble pronouncing the letter "L"./Error in fansubs for you

I'm going to be getting back to that series on Friday (Replacing Birdy the Mighty: Decode 02-My Mondays and Fridays won't be as exciting anymore.), and then after that, Usagi Drop. I've been hearing nothing but amazing things about that series. It's gotten many, many different positive 2011 anime awards from so many anime reviewers.

Yes, I'm well aware of the R/L thing that's going on with the Japanese. And yes I already know her name is Holo(I checked and it IS Horo in the fansubs though... but whatever, that's one letter).

I don't ever recall the Horo pronunciation when I was watching it. It was always Holo. Holo the Wise Wolf.
