Nope, the war is still boring as 🤬. Episode 15 was an improvement over episode 14 which was terrible. I'll let you know if the show gets to Shana I or Shana II level. Episode 1 of the first season has been better than all 15 of the current episodes.

Well I never watched any legal streams before, so I just don't know how to go about watching them xD

If I find any time, I'll try to find some. Well actually, I want to finish Spice and Wolf, do you know where I can watch it?

There are many places (Hulu is US only BTW.), this is a place listing what's streaming. Legal streams aren't too bad in quality, though they're not DVD quality, that's for sure. They're only better when they're HD streams, and those are the ones you have to pay for/have a subscription to that site.

As for Spice & Wolf, I think the entire show (Both seasons, but no OVA's.) subbed is still on FUNimation's YouTube channel. That's where the best quality (Outside of Hulu.) will be found for free.

Great, I haven't seen Madoka (Planning on getting the volume 1 LE, despite it being $75.), have seen only 2 episodes of Haruhi season 1 (I'll be getting back to the show sometime on February or March.), and haven't seen any of NGE (I'm planning on getting the show soon, EoE, waiting for it to be license-rescued, and the rebuilds, will get those later this year on Blu-ray.).:grumpy:

Well this is great, up in Brainerd, Minnesota again at my dead grandparents house. The reason, my aunt died this week, and I have to go to the funeral tomorrow.

My anime viewing is going to be next to nothing this weekend. The internet up here is slow as I have to have my dad connect his Blackberry Storm to this Dell Mini laptop for internet. It costs quite a bit of money to watch videos, though even if it didn't cost much, it'd be slow as hell. What the connection is currently.

Anyway... I was gonna watch anime, but I got distracted and now I'm working on my custom image formats again. Just thought up an image format which can theoretically store tiny images at 1/3 the size of bitmap. How it scales to larger images remains to be seen...

At least when you watch anime with your internet, you don't have to pay a ****ton of money. When my dad let me test out how much money it would cost to watch videos, I watched a 1:30 minute YouTube video. Do you know how much money it cost when the bill came in? $100, I'm not ******** you.

It would probably be cheaper to buy the Fate/Zero Blu-ray box than to watch all of FLCL on this internet.

Tomorrow I'll do one at the Recreation Center on base. The internet there can actually be pretty damn fast... when there isn't 50 people trying to video chat with their family and download Steam updates all at the same time. :P
 
It's a lot slower than usual atm, but it does suck... I just kind of live with it. Really, really frustrating though. Especially when you bastards post an assload of pictures in one post... then someone else dumps pics ON THE SAME PAGE.

I hate it, I hate it, I hate it. We're looking at alternative options right now, actually.

Forgot to mention, when my dad apparently gets paid on the 1st of February, I'll be able to order a lot of crap. What I'll be getting/try getting.

Dragon Ball Z: Dragon Box 4-Will try tracking one down at one of the FYE's, or Suncoast. It's sold out online, and going for inflated prices. I've heard FYE/Suncoast tends to have harder to find titles for a while, probably because all anime is stupidly sold for FULL MSRP there. The MSRP on this thing was $60, so I will have to pay that, but hopefully it'll be less than $60.

Also, lame thought it may seem, trying at least a few episodes of one of the "big 4" is probably a good idea (One Piece, Bleach, Naruto, Gintama.)

Edit @ Loli: 00 is not terrible. And a "must see" list should include things which give an anime viewer a good foundation in anime, covering all the major bases. And most anime fans will agree that if you haven't seen any Gundam, you're missing something big in anime. You don't have to love it, but you have to watch at least some of it to know what it is, at the very least so you can tease Gundam freaks.

Shame with what happened with Bandai, we probably won't see any more of Unicorn brought over as imports (In limited quantities. In Japan, they're not limited IIRC.). Not to mention, the non-limited DVD release won't be finished.:(

Also, hate how the early volumes are hard to find now. It would be best to import them from Amazon Japan at this point.

I don't know, I thought El Cazador de la Bruja was pretty passive and nonchalant, and it was pretty good. And Canaan does feel like it could slip into the "Girls with Guns" trilogy of El Cazador de la Bruja, Noir and Madlax (Madlax is another show I have finish.) So, I don't think it'll be bad.

I'll watch it when I get it on BD sometime (I would have gone after the DVD's if they got finished. Episodes 5 and 6 probably will never come here in DVD form.). Don't know when that'll be. It'll probably cost more for me since now to get the early volumes, I have to import from Amazon Japan (Where I don't get translated covers, which isn't too big of a deal.).

The crap, when I was testing my discs for Rosario + Vampire a few hours ago-one of the anime DVD's I brought with me here-(And also seeing what they looked like upscaled on my PS3 which was using HDMI without playing any actual episodes. I'll have a picture of the pretty good HDTV we have here so you can see what I'm looking at it on.), I got the FUNimation trailer (You can never skip them.) for that show (I've heard about it, never thought to look up what it's about until now.) on disc 2 of Rosario + Vampire and disc 2 of Rosario + Vampire Capu2, and good gawd, that plot summary is just...:crazy:

You should have seen the trailer, it was "What the?" and made my mom give me that weird look. Not sure if this is the one I saw, I just searched on YouTube for the video, and copied the link (Via Firefox) without opening the actual video.
