This thread is, and has always been weird.

Probably why I stick around so much.

Code Geass > FMA:B

So I vote that he puts FMA:B on hold (not that he hadn't already) to watch Code Geass. :)

And as much as I loved FMA:B, I prefer Code Geass. Thanks in part to the fact that it's ending is a lot less traditional/predictable, and also a lot more emotionally moving. To me, that is.

Mirai Nikki 11:

Just like I said after the second (third?) episode: why form an alliance with anyone when the entire point of the game is to kill or be killed? And that was illustrated twofold in this episode - Kurosu betrays Yuno and Yukii and encourages them, through forcible action, to become wanted criminals... just so he can eliminate them to save his son. Okay, a legitimate reason nonetheless, but I still don't get it: why? Why not just be upfront about it like Minene? You help me, I help you and then after all of that help is gone, I'll try to kill you or you me.

It's not a case of me not getting it as a literal thing or even a story arc thing... it's more along the lines of it's a waste. It's like when Goku always tries to persuade any villain to change their ways or else - only to be slapped into a goddamn rock formation. It's like, I already know how this is going to end, so why?

Also, LOL at Kurosu threatening a crazy terrorist bitch. Really dude?

And the people who want legitimately great shows get 🤬 over because of it.
Eh, there have been plenty of critically-acclaimed shows that haven't sold well here in the past, or probably wouldn't sell well if they came over here. When They Cry is one of them for example. FUNi dropped it due to low sales.

It should be noted, many of these ecchi shows can in the end help pay for the rights to other shows, or help cover for other shows not doing the best.

What is funny is if they removed ecchi and fan service from many shows, they'd appeal to a broader audience. Which means possibly more sales.

Wait, damnit, I'm not suppose to talk business theory with you because you don't actually care.
