Think I'm gonna take a break from anime for bit....

Well because yeah, these arrived.....

I own Ridge Racer 5 and Auto Modellista, and I like them quite a bit. I've played R: Racing and Enthusia, and they're not bad at all.

If you liked Chobits, then you'll surely have something to like about Plastic Memories.

I only ever read the manga in omnibus form. It was nice.

Chii... Chii... CHII.

Don't get me started on the PS1, Bust a Groove for starters.... That's why its good to keep your consoles:sly:

I learned it the hard way; I still regret getting rid of my PS2 to get a PS3. Well, at least I have my CFW'd PSP to console me a little.

I wonder if IS is going to get another season. I think it's more than likely, though.

Infinite Stratos did receive decent amount of success, and season 2's OVA seems to have become quite popular as well. The problem is that the original LN series has only went as far as 9 volumes, which leads to very little things to animate opposed to, say, High School DxD, which has 19 volumes under its belt - with a volume 20 underway - and a recent series of bonus novels, or even more, A Certain Magical Index, which has well over 30 volumes if we also include spinoffs such as Railgun.
To make a long story short: between IS, DxD, and Index, only the latter two shows have managed to get 3 seasons or more; however, only Index has also got a full-length movie. But hey, a DxD movie wouldn't be so bad, if you ask me! :sly:

I'd welcome that as well, but it'd be hard to watch with other people around. It also wouldn't make it into theaters very easily :x

I was thinking that as well: it's certainly possible that a High School DxD film would be heavily cut for theaters to accommodate it. Obviously, the unrated version would only be available on the home release. But what I'd really love to happen would be a DxD videogame released here in the West. And I think I know the right studio who can handle it...

A peer of mine is reassuring me Plastic Memories is going to be a good show despite it only being the first episode.

It's not perverted at all but main girl is cute. I predict feels.

^ Interesting, I like Chobits, DearS, and Ah! My Goddess! I might like this series...

Chii... Chii... CHII.

SVX
Yay, now I won't be the only one playing Enthusia on here. :D
^ I have Enthusia too! But I accidently bought two used copies... :ouch:

-> I'd would like to play this game with a steering wheel, simply because it kinda feels wrong to play it with a DS2...it feels very different compared to other PS2 racing games!!

You ain't missing much. The cel-shading, cosmetics and garage personalization are fun, but the physics take the fun out of the game pretty fast.

lol if they put Auto Modellista on the PC with a few graphic touches and a revamped physics system then people like me would stop playing Street Legal Racing Redline.
^ I'm kinda working on that type of game. I'm just on the planning stages by listing the mostly unknown cars and mostly point-to-point real-life targa/touge/hill-climb tracks, it would be more towards a Sim-Cade like Battle Gear. PM me if you want the details. ;)

I hereby declare you as my wife! It has been set in stone; I will NOT accept any objections!

- Laura Bodewig

This line alone gave Laura twice as many fans than the other girls - excluding Charlotte.
^ Laura is too intense for me, even compared to Houki. The only time she gets desu~desu is with Charlotte. This is why I love Charlotte! :embarrassed:

^ Just like Watamote, this too also needs another season. :indiff:

^ I would totally agree with you. But the Ani-Studio can pull it off like Onegai Teacher on which it had 24-26eps on a manga that had two, TWO FREAKING VOLUMES!!! (I own both manga and anime collections)

^ The two volumes are stacked below the Angelic Days book.

^ 26 episodes for 2 volumes! Wow!

-> If other studios can come up with fillers, side stories, etc.! With the right writer, director, and a excellent pacing with plot twist (not that ~PLOT~), it would be a success. The risk? Simply watch and read Love Hina & Negima. :ill:

^ DxD would be a bit too strong for the average ordinary viewer... :indiff:

Apparently the G27 or DFGT should work since it's a FFB wheel, and since it's Logitech if you have one. I have yet to try it with a wheel. I just unlocked the Dragon Range track :sly:

2nd Season + Character Development. Then Watamote will be something.

The anime and Manga Collection is looking Supreme there :embarrassed:

If 50 Shades of Grey The Movie was appreciated immensely, the same can be done for DxD, so I say :sly:

^ Yeah, but I'm skimping at the moment due to budget issues... :indiff:

I just unlocked the Dragon Range track :sly:
^ Lucky you! :grumpy:

^ Character development is enough in my opinion, since there is not a lot of characters to begin with. ;)

^ Thats only a part of it. I got more, but I stopped collecting anime & manga now unless the series is very good or I only stick to artbooks now. :)

^ Well yeah, but the animation aspect of it would be off-base to most people... :indiff:

What spring shows are you guys watching?

I think I've mentioned this before but Grisaia no Meikyuu and Grisaia no Rakuen. Have too much in backblog to consider watching any more, heh.

What spring shows are you guys watching?

F/SN UBW - because F/SN
Is it wrong to pick up girls in a dungeon? - because of the title alone
Owari no Seraph - because vampires
Plastic Memories - because androids
Arslan Senki
Punch Line
Nisekoi S2

There's also a few more but those don't have a release date yet (Digimon Tri, Lupin III...).

^ "Mandachi" as people like to call it.

What spring shows are you guys watching?

Here's what I've seen so far:

Fate UBW
Highschool DxD Born
Arslan Senki <- I heard it loses steam after the first ep. so I'm already considering a drop.
Kekkai Sensen <- The setting seems cool, but the plot is losing me.
Disappearance of Nagato <- spin off the original series. Pretty dumb so far.
Shokugeki no Souma. <- 2nd to Fate right now. I recommend it if your like protags who are on an ambitious journeys.

some shows that you guys watched a long time ago. ( for the OCDers, series in a random order instead of it's intended order)

Spring shows he said. :P
