I was told there isn't enough episodes to cover some other arc or segment. I'd have to agree, because unless Petelgeuse is really the main bad guy, I think they spent too much time trying to reach a conclusion with him.

We still need to know about Roswaal's ulterior motive and what happens IF Emilia wins the election. Though I honestly would not mind if that gets pushed to a second season at this point.

I supposed only the amount of content remaining in the LN will dictate that.
As far as I know, the LN is still ongoing and the current arc has Subaru meeting Satella but the the summary of the arc that I read has nothing regarding why Satella, if it was even Satella, gave Subaru the power to return to Zero.

The final episode should, i'm hoping, cover the final battle and Subaru/Emilia heading to the capital only to find Rem... ;)

Started watching Dragon Ball Super and I must say, I love the Future Trunks arc so far. I always found Future Trunks to be an interesting character and the addition of the great villain of Goku Black which adds a lot to the story currently being told.

Also spoiler for the rest of Yugioh ARC-Vs episodes for the Zexal vs. GX Arc and the start of the new arc have been uploaded. It gives a lot of amazing details, some heartbreaking.
It sounds like that Alexis Rhodes from GX is going to die :(. Granted this is Yugioh so she'll likely be revived.

We'll finally get exposition on why the world is split into 4 dimensions and judging by what is said feels like the "Demon Duelist that destroys the world with 4 Dragons" is a prophecy that probably means that it has happened before. Which makes a lot of sense if you think about in Yugioh Zexal (which I believe took place in the Xyz Dimension) the Numeron Dragon created the world (probably just the Xyz Dimension since the other dimensions except Standard have their own gods of creation or order) after being lonely which could have been the aftermath of the last time the Demon Duelist caused havoc.

This show is shaping up to be no more than an 8/10 for me.

They could honestly spend a LOT less time evacuating people and confronting Petelgeuse.

It would seem the end of the show is to simply complete the evacuation without a casualty. That makes for an underwhelming finish.

I completely forgot about Blade & Soul for ages.

The ED is pretty cool to watch.

Absolutely love the end pose.

The General RE:Zero Thread....

I think Pokémon has gone through the Battle Stage formula

Multiple episodes telling side battles.

So, it took two years, but I finally watched Monogatari Season 2.

Same eccentric formula, I see... heavily dialogue reliant... thankfully not quite as perverse as Nissemonogatari.

But that ending... whuuuuut?

And whuuuuuuuuut?

And holy heck, whuuuuuUUUUUUUUUUT?!?

Despite the plodding pace, incomprehensibly intricate and roundabout dialogue, ridiculous plot twists and the like, I must say, that was very good ending.

Which was your favourite ending?

Neko White was satisfying, and a good way to tie up loose ends left behind by previous series. Shinobu was interesting, and the showdown with Future Shinobu was well done, but epilogue to that felt like a cop-out because it left things status quo with Mayoi. The Mayoi arc solved that, but I'm not particularly fond of the character or the resolution of her storyline.

The first Sengoku arc didn't quite hit it for me. I didn't quite agree with the philosophical/logic trains of thought of either Araragi or Senjougahara in that series. Poor writing? Obtuse logic? Poor translation?

The Hitagi arc fixed that for me. It was a satisfying one, and a redemption of the Kaiki character, and that's where most of the niggling little inconsistencies and mysteries of the series started to resolve themselves. The plot twists were at times profound, at times whacky, but it felt tightly written. A bit of bittersweetness there, as well, as we see a lot of what could have been in terms of relationships and story arcs.

I really hate this series. It's plodding and overly long, but the author of the LNs sure knew how to string a story along so that you're hooked, waiting to find out what happens next. Also clever in the way he weaves mysteries and mythology together in a good example of logical world building.

The arc with Kaiki is actually excellent. A lot of Second Season is pretty good as well, at least by Monogatari standards.

Pretty much.

Andy, I would assumed you have watched Spice and Wolf. I only seen the second season myself; I am still trying to find the first season.

Tip from experience: Never assume anything about Andy. It may cost you your dignity someday.

I'm almost done the first season. It's a pretty decent show so far, but I haven't found something outstanding just yet.
