From what I remember, the TV series is a retelling of the story that branches off after ep. 4 of the OVA. I have the TV series on VHS tape and I've heard that it was re-released on DVD sometime ago.

I say it's OAV... Original Animation Video, where "Video" is a noun being described by "Animation".

I can't really find any fan art of her. She only appears in the Raising Shinji Project.
