yay canos back!
It is worth watching except for one scene in ep 3 as we NEVER DISCUSS IT AGAIN. the same style of animation from flcl comes back. characters are drawn with great detail during the serious parts, and poignant chibi animation for ...everything else. the big thing that you will notice is the return of the most cliche'd theme in anime. "young children are magicaly sent to another world, in part risking life to save it from ambiguous RPG villians". MK rayearth, escaflowne, el hazard, digimon, fushigi yugi, hack, dual!, those who hunt elves, plus tons more. it has been beat to over like hamer->Fish on rocks
abenobashi mahou shotengai!! here works against the grain of conventional wisdom, this not a normal anime(gainax is not a normal company).
expect to get mentaly thrashed as with previous titles.
