Never played one, but x-play on tech tv just did a big segment on them.

They look pretty much like what I would expect... anime porn for the otaku with a one handed playstation controller.

and yeah, I am not saying that you have to agree with me in that initial D is absolute, incredible trash wich I cant really stand. I was being gravely sarcastic in the last post (not this one tough (: ) so, dont diss me with that.

Hey guy's this is my first time being in this thread, I've been checking thru your posts since Page 38, and this is kinda interesting. As for the 1st Post made by GoKents I'll answer some of the Questions:

-I'm pretty much into Anime, since I was 7 (watching Robotech), but not quite an Otaku-level yet.

-I like some sexy comedy, high action, a little fantasy, stories that can easily to catch up on, and anime quality illustrations is the top most priority on my list.

-I have some stories of my own, practicing some manga, and still conceptualizing, I wanna be like Akira Toriyama when it becomes to authoring and illustrating characters, but not copying his style and philosophy.

-Theres a lot:

=Saber Marionette series (story and anime quality)

You guys said that this anime was made by Gainax, I think there some hints from Fooly Cooly mixed with Excel Saga wackiness. Hmm, this is kinda interesting.
 
who has seen the anime desktop helpers i have LH ones but i want to know if there is and NGE ones
 
yeah, i could use a gendou ikari office assiatant. he should just sit there and yell at you when you stop working! then he could develop MS word into a biomechanical fighting machine with a mind of its own. nevermnd, 'MS Word does that anyways. :lol:

and for the "how to draw manga" books, sorry, but I think that those doesnt really help that much. if you really want to learn to draw, first learn to draw accurate, realistic human bodies. and from there develop your own style, manga or not. drawing manga is just a style, not something you can learn. you first have to learn to draw the human body. what you think about that kirkis (the only dude here that really draws this stuff)

i agree, anyone caught saying fooly cooly should be smacked on the head with a huge wooden plnank with 'Ba Ka' burnt into it.

as for kite, i finally got to see the whole thing this past weekend, what an, umm, 'interesting' movie (wont go into details, there may be some youngsters around)

yea, I hate stupid tokyo pop's translation of hte characters in the initial D arcade game

but I haven't seen an episode of the tokyo pop's total rapeage of the original Initial D series...

I believe it's Mana. I've been wishing for a translated version of the NGE game to get at my local manga shop, but to no avail... :(

Edit: And as far as I'm concerned that pic of Asuka's is fanart, which I've seen in most NGE sites for years now. :confused:
