just now I finished Black Lagoon: Roberta's blood trail. That is, Black Lagoon in its entirety.

Very good watch, it’s nothing really new nor complicated, just a straightforward story –but well told- full of action, excellent graphics and animation for the most part, very good music and several obscure references to many mafia groups in the world, which is a big plus. ‘Sides, they drive muscle cars. What’s not to like?

Guys, anyone got the special edition bluray for Baccano? I had seen it was out in the US a couple months ago and was gutted because I thought it was only region A, but it turns out it's region free, so it'll play in the UK, totally just made my day.

Quick unboxing, I can't wait, it looks so sick.

The silly people around here who haven't seen it yet. For some reason there's more buzz around Durarara!, which is good, but not great like Baccano! Although the Isaac and Miria cameo in Durarara makes that show worth watching just for that scene!

Personally, I adored both series'. Baccano! comes close to perfection in my opinion and Durarara!! was fantastic also, the pacing in the middle of DRR!! was a little off though. Both are in my top 5, and will most probably remain there for a few years yet. Also the Isaac and Miria scene in Durarara!! I missed during my first watch as I hadn't seen Baccano at the time DRR!! was airing, but during my second watch I was like WTF!

fixed! and good, it's totally not your typical anime, thought it may have a little something in common with FMA. Also, did you get my Wolf's Rain recommendation above? Ever heard of it? Any interest? Also, Jin-roh the Wolf Brigade may be something you'd enjoy. Okami-da!

Jin Roh is freaking awesome, I saw it way back then when it was released (remember, I'm old). Been one of my favourite movies ever since. I love its style.

And yes, Wolfsrain is also on the list. I have it already, but you know how that is. This one has one of the most amazing soundtracks Yoko Kanno has given us. If it was a bit more extensive and eclectic, it would almost be able to compete with Bebop's. Coracao Selvagem FTFW.
