In other news, does anybody else here admit to watching Bleach and/or Naruto? Last episode of Naruto was especially funny when they started playing the serious music in the middle of the epic (tongue firmly planted in cheek) battle between the fisherman and the marlin. Yeah, filler, but if you've kept up, you know it's about 50% filler.

I don't watch Bleach or Naruto. I've seen the first 6 or so episodes of Naruto but the show was well beyond that then. I can't watch something that just goes on and on. I like a story that has a conclusion. Same reason I don't play MMOs. Not knocking any of this just saying they're not for me.

In bed I lie, unable to sleep or even shut an eye, what is there left to do? -- The first episode of Gurren Lagann I watch indeed and what an episode it was; underground villages, drilling, and the discovery of one of the Lagann units, and Yoko (more on her later)...Okay, poetics aside I already like this, Yoko is insanely HOT and I'd watch it just to see her.
I finally get the Kamina shades now. I never knew from where they originated and now I think I do. Tomorr, er, today - Episode 2 and more maybe, entirely dependent on how addictive Metroid Prime 3 is, and I'm also giving Other M a full try, despite the fact I hate what they've done to her. But damn (segue's, FTW)...Yoko.

Anime Song of the Day comes late, but comes. And today we have what is perhaps the second best anime OST ever put together. MANY will ague with what I'm stating, saying that it's just a bunch of Pillows songs, and they will be right. That is precisely what makes it SO. FREAKING. GOOD.
Last Dinosaur, by the Pillows, used in FLCL. I chose Last Dinosaur because of the moment it appears in in the series, namely episode 5. Awesomest episode ever.
