Well then, here's my first Once A Day Rei Post (ODAR) :). Hopefully it isn't a repost :scared:!

Dat R34.

Yeah, I don't know if it has appeared in another artbook before, but it is included in Yoshiyuki Sadamoto's latest art collection, Carmine.

Today's mobile suit of the day is the CB-002 Raphael Gundam piloted by Innovade (a genetic "fake" Innovator if you're wondering) Tieria Erde.

Based off of several pre-existing suits, Raphael is quite unlike any of Tieria's previous two Gundams: for one it's comparatively light in armor and as such loses the superior defenses of both the Seravee and Virtue. What it doesn't lack is firepower, and more importantly because of it's lighter armor and thinner build that of course means greater mobility and speed. Raphael bears a great resemblance to the Gadessa and Seravee and even has technical and battle data from both, cementing it's lineage amongst the two. Raphael was built by both Veda (a sentient super AI) and Tieria most notably for "the dialogues to come". Unlike the Gadessa there is no escape pod/hatch which would endanger Tieria's life (which it did) should the suit become compromised; that doesn't matter in the slightest since Tieria's consciousness is permanently linked with Veda and he can, at will, produce another body. As already alluded to, both Tieria and Raphael were destroyed amidst the battle against the ELS...which is a shame since I've always liked the way Tieria goes about things.

See the armament mounted on Raphael's shoulders? That's not only a projectile weapon, it's also Seravee II.

Seravee II can be controlled entirely by Tieria's QB waves.

Yeah, Sadamoto did create this picture. Apparently he had a keen interest for cars! ...and I do not think it has been in another artbook either...

That must be quite heavy to carry around.

The "armament mounted on Raphael's shoulders" I'm guessing. But Cano, it wouldn't be "heavy" since you're in space and there's practically no gravity and therefore no mass. It would however be massive and so would be "unwieldy" in the sense that it's got a lot of inertia and would require a lot of force both to get moving and to stop. [/inner science editor]

I have yet to join one, and probably might not until if I ever catch up to whatever you're watching. What are they like with you people?

No stream tonight.... *watches Dr. Who while loading up a Blood+ episode*

I think we're going to get along quite well, Dr. Who is another one of my addictions. Been watching since Tom Baker back in the early 80's, and now again with the new series. All caught up and waiting for the second half of this season.

And let me know how you like Blood+, it was somehow the first thing I watched in my modern anime kick, back in 2007 or so, and I loved it, watched it all again like 6-8 months later, and should probably see it for a third time sometime soon.

I'm quite friendly so everything would've been good anyway ;)

I just started on Dr. Who. Saw 3 episodes of the 11th Doctor and now I'm going back to the 9th.

I watched the first episode of Blood+ on the 30 days of night disc, my sister and I loved it but we never continued. Now I'm back to anime after a few years and it's time for me to start it up again :P

Can we agree on having no stream on weekend nights...?

But still, having a stream each weekday night is going to hold up my own progress on shows...

I think we should stream on the weekends and not the weekdays, personally. :P

All the way up to Episode 9 of NGE now. You guys are right, Asuka is a bitch.
