No... FLCL was 3 DVD's for like $30 when it first came out. So that's like $15 per episode. I still bought it (and Paranoia Agent) with my middle school budget.

Plus that whole idea is why no one is supporting the anime industry sadly.

I said I don't pay for my hot loli action, I never said anything about not buying my anime. In the last year and a half, I've spent over $3000 on anime.

But yeah, I bought the 3 FLCL DVDs for about $20 each on Amazon, so... $10 per episode.

Don't expect superior animation nor incredible character designs, this series is pretty damn budget and it maintains anime's great tradition of having a protagonist that sucks freaking ballls. I cannot even remember how he is called but he stinks big time. However, the entire plot is pretty shocking. You'll maybe even cry with Sara. I was about to. That has to say something.
