But you can't capture a Wild Dice just by confusing him and using a regular pokeball...

And what a weak list of attacks I have... Gimme some decent TMs NAO!!! :3

I only played the game for like 3 days in my entire life, and that was for a school project...so I was using a move list that's easily recognizable for everyone.

A Game Studies class...Hate this class so much.

I took a class about games/game development in high school... it sucked too. Mostly because the teacher knew zilch about the subject.

AP Comp Sci was much better. I ended up creating a Pokemon Stadium-esque game in Java for the final project. And a 60-something page (10 times the page requirement btw) design document for a Final Fantasy-esque game for the project before that.

What the 🤬 is wrong with you?! Downlo... erm, run out and buy a Game Boy Color and Pokemon Crystal right this second, mister!!

Am I seeing things, or does the scanlation look almost as good as it would on paper? I see no blurriness, no weird patterned patches, absolutely nothing but a clean page with no problems.
I take it back. I'm back on this laptop, and I'm seeing the usual scanlation blurriness.:ouch:Print manga>>>>>>>>>>Digital manga/scanlations
I do see where you're coming from and I agree with most of it to an extent. But ending it here seems like the right thing to do lol.

👍 @ Song of the Day.
Agreed. I've been in debates like that so much that it has gotten tiring (Especially when some rants are included, such as people with VIZ Media and Monster-they did finish it digitally however.). Though if it went further, it could have gone into the state of the industry here (Which isn't too good.), and who I blame mostly for the situation.

How could you hate a class focusing on video games?!!!:0

On a side-note Loliblade, I never told you this but, when FUNi releases Steins;Gate next year it will be first released in two 13 episode parts (Priced at $70 each most likely. It will be found at Amazon and Rightstuf for around $40 each for each part.). The first part has a regular and limited edition, and that limited edition will have a neat looking artbox (To store part 2 with part 1 when you get part 2.), and it might include a special premium item. The complete box set whenever that comes out won't be like that.

I just wanted to say something real quick about those box office numbers. I only know of two theaters in this state that even show anime films and both are 4 hours from me. What am I to do? And I know I'm not the only one in that situation.

And I guess also real quick about DVD/Blu-Ray sales. There's virtually zero marketing. I've never seen a TV commercial advertising a new release. You'd either have to stumble upon them in the store, online, commercials on DVDs that are already out or ads in certain anime magazines. That brings me to ones like Newtype. Those things are like $10 an issue. For a magazine! I don't even pay that for Top Gear magazine. I buy an issue of Top Gear like once every 5 to 6 months. So if I wouldn't subscribe or buy Top Gear regularly I sure as hell won't do that for an anime magazine. Ya know?

And I guess this is directly related to poor sales but 6 years ago the local Best buy had a modest anime selection. About 3 racks. At the time that wasn't too bad as anime around here wasn't too big. A couple of years later that BB had an anime selection that was an aisle and a half. So much to choose from. It was heaven. Today that same store is down to two racks of anime. It's very sad. :(

1. They don't play it because it wouldn't do well. If it's not Miyazaki, it won't do well. Only certain theaters will play this stuff that's a limited time thing. We can only hope anime could become mainstream, and it would be in theaters everywhere. Too bad the chances of that happening is slim currently as anime is no longer new here.:(
2. The unfortunate thing with advertising is who is there to advertise it to (It pretty much appeals only to people who are already fans.)? It costs quite a bit of money to get the ads on TV. Even Dragon Ball Z doesn't get any TV ads anymore. While FUNimation makes these trailers for example, the only place they end up is on YouTube, their BD's/DVD's, and websites relating to anime. Marketing anime is a tough thing to do, though I don't know too much on this, so I wouldn't take my word on this too much. Still, I think at least DBZ Kai ads should end up on TV at least. That show is hella mainstream for gawd's sake.
3. $10 an issue? That is kinda odd considering the US Shonen Jump (Which ends in March 2012 after 100+ issues.) has way more pages than other magazines here, and is like $5 an issue (Newstand price). Wonder why it would be priced that high.
4. Best Buy's anime selection (Outside certain titles like Naruto and DBZ.) doesn't sell, that's why it's happened. One big reason, online shopping. Best Buy has a problem of selling anime for close to it's MSRP (If they fixed that, they would be a great place to buy any anime from. Only some titles are sold close to the competitors online.). So people instead go to places like Rightstuf or Amazon where it's much cheaper, and a much better deal.

Looks like we're finally agreeing on everything. 👍
