You guys thought I took the class because I didn't think the same thing as you guys are right now? It's not just analyzing game-play.. you take one present game, relate it back to past games, social context and a WHOLE bunch of different things you normally never even bother to think about nor relate to....

There's no "This is Mario, it was developed by Nintendo and is an icon to Nintendo and it's Exclusives"....that's grade-school level compared to the crud we have to do..

Yeah tiny avatars suck. I do like your current one though. Excel FTW!

If using photoshop, use Save for Web & Devices. 20KB limit was never a problem for me, except with animated gifs.
 
I don't have Photoshop though. I'm stuck with just flat out Paint. Not Paintshop, not Paintshop Pro, just the Paint software that comes on every Windows computer and laptop.

Cropping images there is a pain, and destroys the quality by a lot, so I use this to resize.

Which is why we all get Premium :) Still in waiting for mine but I can't blame how long it takes for the gifter to give it to me. I mean, she's only just had her second child, come on, you gotta give her some time :sly:
 
They allow anything, you just need to find a way to reduce/compress file sizes...

that mad boi keeps exclaiming how much better it is to use png, problem with that is that they go well over the size limit almost naturally.

When I make stuff, they'd go blurry too, and if I reduced quality via reducing colors I get more distinct pixels, and harder edges, so what I do is I just go gif and allow photoshop to reduce the quality but as little as it can, with 256 colors max.... everything sits under 20kb usually. Go 128 and it'll stay roughly at 7kb... and it's not like you'll notice too much loss granted that you see the pixely edges as a part of the "style", hence why I tend to over-sharpen my stuff.

Seriously, the [adult swim] boards allow for custom avatars (There are tons of limitations like you can't use stuff from shows [as] never had the rights to.) to be under 8KB, and are 80X80 and they look better because of .jpg.

Added my Anime-Planet to my sig. It's still under construction and a bit of a mess. So many "Want to watches" I got to remove (Since I decided I'll put down only the stuff I intend to see soon, not everything that interests me. That can stay in that small packet.), got to add more manga, and I think that's it. Also, I still don't know why I picked such a stupid username there.<_<

One thing to note, I think Rei looks more attractive physically (:sly:), but the deciding factor is personality. Looks are icing on the cake only if the person is likable, and not someone you don't want to be around.

On a side-note Loliblade, I never told you this but, when FUNi releases Steins;Gate next year it will be first released in two 13 episode parts (Priced at $70 each most likely. It will be found at Amazon and Rightstuf for around $40 each for each part.). The first part has a regular and limited edition, and that limited edition will have a neat looking artbox (To store part 2 with part 1 when you get part 2.), and it might include a special premium item. The complete box set whenever that comes out won't be like that.

Gah, forgot it was 24 episodes, not 26. Still relatively close. If there are any OVA's, they could get included if FUNi gets them.

Now off to watch Guilty Crown before my sister needs to write her essay. After she gets on the laptop, it's onto Excel Saga.

I should have spent more time watching, but I never learn. I spend too much time on forums.>_>

Actually you probably won't like her. You also probably won't like Rei either if we're just talking personalities though lol.


However in the looks department Asuka wins hands down. Rei is a little hottie but nothing compared to our almighty goddess. I can list the superior physical qualities.
