I never read any of the books I was assigned in HS. :lol:

But in my senior year, I took a class on horror. And we were assigned to read I Am Legend.

I liked the teacher and didn't want to disappoint him, so even though I hadn't read the book, I decided to belt out an essay at 2 AM the night before it was due. I got the highest grade in the class (105... got 5 extra points for awesomeness), which made me feel kinda bad for the people who actually did read the book... :P
 
I'd say read some good books at least while you're captive, but you're already watching some good anime, so all's well!

For some reason, I only read non-fiction. But it's stuff on theoretical physics so it's borderline fiction I guess. :lol:

Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood is indeed > Steins;Gate... so far, at least. I reserve final judgement until I finish Brotherhood.

Which, by current estimates, will be in 6-20 days.
 
That statement may have been accurate during the production of FMAB, but at this point in time FMAB must have a fixed quality assessment, excepting gradual cultural changes which lead to re-evaluations. FMAB is great, 9/10, and that's that, for the time being.

It's a great show as well, but the ending was pretty weak and clunky.
 
Man, if you have that low of a mark when walking into an exam.. Just walk in there like you own the place, scribble on the paper and leave.

What I don't get is, they planned out the entire show from start to finish before they even started it and got input and support from Arakawa regarding what they should do and how they should do it since they knew it would be done long before the manga would be, so I've never understood how it went so thoroughly to pieces in the last... 5 episodes or so.

[B][color=#E42217]Agreed. FMA was good but the ending could have used some work. I think I'll be ready soon to start Brotherhood. Also I have Squid Girl on my list but it's going to be a while before I get to it.


In other news I finished my re-watch of Hellsing. I forgot just how awesome that show is. I am going to watch Ultimate soon.
