You need them for certain calculations in Geometry such as area. Want to spend 9,000 hours figuring out the area of a square that's 9,000 by 9,002 by hand?

Uh... well, first off: If it's 9000 by 9002, it's not a square.

Also... doing 9000 x 9002 by hand should definitely not take 9000 hours, nor should it take 9000 minutes or even 9000 seconds.

9000 x 2 = 18000
9(000) * 9(000) = 81(000000)
81000000 + 18000 = 81018000

Calculations aren't part of geometry, but rather proofs and theory. Yes, Geometry comes after algebra, so you can just use variables to represent everything and be okay. But I'd rather use protractor, compass, and straight edge!

PS, I was top 100 in the US in maths in HS... And finished my Physical Chemistry final in college without a calculator, before everybody else, and set the curve.

Chu-Bra!! is a show that's a complete waste of time to most people. It overall for me was a 5/10, however, anyone giving it a 7/10 or higher is absolutely nuts in my eyes.
