Some people on FP are so overwhelmingly stupid it actually interests me.

Sorry. Just...stupid asses.
For a second there, I thought you were talking about the Fandom Post (I also registered at Mania, but rarely talk about that place.) which I've posted about since I registered there two days ago.

I'm actually really liking that place, wish it were more active. Though there's more fun in here.

No stream today?

BTW, when do you need more recommendations? Want me to recommend some stuff?

Right now I'm watching Darker Than Black, FMP Fumoffu and resuming Madoka, aside from the series which are currently airing.

I'm set for a few weeks I think, but if you have any recommendations fire away.

Yo, figurine collectors and all you other art-appreciating people.......

Start-to-finish of making a figurine... I'm surprised they use a base mold to start everything off.

I have something more exciting to watch than anything on stream.

Which is... ?

You still in the mood for more lighthearted shows? Or has that phase passed? Because if so; Kore wa Zombie Desu Ka? is entertaining.

Sure, I always have a lighthearted show to see in between the more serious stuff. Right now it's fumoffu but I'll give Kore wa Zombie Desu Ka a look.

I just asked for a link to this on BR lol. Thanks bro! Watching this tonight.

Why in the name of hell are we talking about Banana Republic in this thread? :odd: Anyway, have the day off tomorrow, so its all day Anime and video games with a break to... do laundry. :D And what animes? Guilty Crown, Mirai Nikki, and Mashiroiro Symphony: The Color of Lovers. --- Randy :dopey:

Well, apparently Sephy asked someone for the link to those videos there. :P

Lucky you. I definitely don't have the day off tomorrow. :(

Awww sorry Walter. :( Um, Banana Republic is a high-end clothing maker. Among other things...

Maybe it was Bubble Rights where Sephy asked for the link then...

Anyway, watched Time of Eve yesterday. It was... ok.

Quite predictable, plus awful animation due to either obviously low frame rates masked by an annoying motion blur effect or a noticeable clash between 2D and 3D elements.

On the other hand though, it's refreshing to see a story that touches on human's often irrational fear of machines/robots, as opposed to exploiting it with a story about evil robots taking over. It's not unique in this regard, but still it was nice. And while the animation was bad, the art itself was very good.

In the end though, it had certain likeable elements but failed to really connect for me. I had much the same feeling with the director's earlier work, Mizu no Kotoba. Hopefully Pale Cocoon is better.

Hello there, fellow worshipper of redheaded Germans!

Watch out homeboy, he OG. He be rippin' out punk-ass bustas who takes Asuka away from him.

FAIL EDIT: I brought him here though. Told him to hang around with fellow Asuka lovers but it ended up as a love triangle.

You guys don't like Behind the Scenes videos :odd:

Anyway,

The Wolf Children

Plot Synopsis from ANN said
The theme of the film is the love between parents and children. The story covers 13 years and begins with a 19-year-old college student named Hana who encounters and falls in "fairy tale-like" love with a "wolf man." After marrying the wolf man, Hana gives birth and raises two wolf children — an older sister named Yuki ("snow") who was born on a snowy day, and a younger brother named Ame ("rain") who was born on a rainy day.

The four quietly lived in a corner of a city to conceal the fact that the children are "wolf children." However, when the wolf man suddenly dies, Hana decides to move to a rural town far removed from the city.

New Mamoru Hosoda movie in 2012 and spiritual successor to Summer Wars and The girl who leapt through time.

Director: Hosoda Mamoru (The girl who leapt through time, Summer Wars)
Screenwriter: Hosoda Mamoru , Okudera Satoko (The girl who leapt through time, Summer Wars)
Character design: Sadamoto Yoshiyuki (The girl who leapt through time, Summer Wars)
Animation director: Yamashiita Takaaki (Digimon Adventure: Bokura no War Game , One Piece movie 6)
Art director: Hiroshi Ohno (Kiki's Delivery Service, Dog of Flanders)
Animation production: Studio Chizu, Madhouse

That plot synopsis sounds a bit goofy, but it's Mamoru Hosoda, so it'll probably be great anyways. :)

You shouldn't be displeased... It's by people who did Girl Leaping through Time and Summer Wars, granted I haven't seen the latter show but it IS a show you recommended.

And Kiki is a great movie. Pinwheel Bike ftw.

THIS TAKES ME BACK :(

Follow up on this if you can, Cano.

y u no see Summer Wars?!

In any case, since nobody'll tell me what BR really is, I'm off to bed.

Just watched the first part of that documentary. The subtitles make no sense but I am going to finish it anyway since I can at least see what they are doing.
