I am the white void....

Jin is Hakuman
TIME PARADOX!

Unfortunately, the only way she'll be able to watch some anime now is subbed only. Due to the state of the industry, more and more shows are released subbed-only, and or limited-edition only.
Fixed, can't believe I didn't notice this typo until now.
Eh? Fansubs man, fansubs.
They can go take a hike for stuff that is licensed, or being simulcasted.
I prefer Guilty Crown's character models.... ugh, hate those scary looking Geass people.
How could you hate CLAMP's character designs? They got a lot more fame and popularity just from those designs.
Is Guilty Crown really that similar? You're the second (technically, the third) person to make that comparison.
Oh yes, it's VERY similar, up to a certain point though. So many similarities, one big thing being Japan being occupied by some fictional country, and there being a resistance. And in that resistance, a boy who received a power from a mysterious girl.

LMAO, Dragon Ball GT is returning to the airwaves!

I don't even know what subs I use at all....
I just watch the damn show. Is it not dub? deos it have subs? Good!

I like my HD quality and I like having the files locally stored.

Also, why do people use facebook to host images when imgur exists?

I just use Funimation, Hulu, or one of those anime sites (anilinkz) to watch GC. I guess you like to download your anime for the HD quality. Wish I had an extra HDD to store a vast array of anime series on.

2TB HDD here for media, which is half full between my photography and anime.

You sound mad, bro.

Hard to break near ten year old habits.

Considering fansubs are one of the reasons we're seeing this, yes I'm mad.

I'll spare you a massive wall of text rant.

Which, when you look at all the numbers, has to do more with character goods than the actual anime or videos. And the peak of that was mostly Pokemon related, and a lot of that generation has moved on a decent amount.

Then you can consider some of the screw ups companies did, like TokyoPop and their treatment of Initial D, which lead to some boycotting.

Really, all you've shown in that the global economy is poor and people are buying fewer novelty items, rather than people suddenly decided to screw the production houses over by not buying anime.

I just do.... I'll ask you a better question, how can you not hate them?

I don't give a got damn about how much other people may like them, I don't.

Waiting for the new Guilty Crown to load, hopefully it won't have any problems.. I need a new got damn connection.

Think I might watch Angel Beats! in the meantime.

Then explain Japan's situation, especially when their prices are ridiculous?
http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/new...of-blu-ray-sales-in-japan-in-1st-half-of-2011
It should be noted DVD sales fell because DVD is being phased out. Japan loves BD so much, I wouldn't be surprised if DVD didn't last another 10 years.

Their prices are these. This stuff actually sells pretty well, and is the reason why they're able to make enough money back, because it's priced so high.

So the "global economy being poor" doesn't really apply to Japan who's economy has been crap since the 1990's. Back to America.

Part of the situation with anime in America does have to do with the economy, but it was already having problems before the economy went to crap (Look at before 2008.). Other factors for that are anime getting cheaper (Yes, less money went in because it became chaper.) and piracy. It's become significantly easier to pirate a series than in the early 2000's.

On anime becoming cheaper, the $30 4 episode singles started to disappear completely in 2009, and in 2010, it was very rare for anime to be released in singles, and when they were, it was for $20.

It is very appealing, and fits the character's.

It doesn't look ugly in the slightest, and it adds to the show greatly.

Guilty Crown 10:

Finally! GC was in need of some plot advancement already. The random Undertakers missions were getting old. As long as it keeps moving forward now it should keep me interested.

I'm not sure if I'm not paying enough attention but I don't like how stuff keep popping out of nowhere...
What the hell is that rock? Have anyone mentioned it before? Something major to the plot like that is something I would expect to hear about before s*** hits the fan.

Offtopic: Skyrim gave me a big scare today. I was about to call it an epic fail, but luckily it wasn't what I feared :3

They should learn to do english dubs (or any other language) during production of the anime 👍. Y u have to wait for dub ? Just my 2 cents to a solver

I do too agree on the plot jump of GC. Its like its going to end early. But I dont know if they stated how many eps theres gonna be (looks)

@TC: The only country where it matters is Japan really. As long as the industry is fine there, we have nothing to worry about. However, maybe it's time for a crisis actually... there's too much junk lately. Maybe if the industry becomes not so profitable anymore, the money-hungry crappy studios will move on to something else and leave anime to those who know what they are doing.

But they look like freakish circus people!

They look fine...

Besides, it's refreshing to see an anime with different art style. And one that looks good like CG is even better. For example, I like Madoka's art style even if their square heads are weird.

Guilty Crown Ep. 10:

Holy 🤬, can't say I saw any of this coming. At all.

Shu starts freaking out likely because of what Jun told him last episode, and it's really putting a damper on everything. I'm going to presume that fragment is what started Lost Christmas in the first place, but what's with the resonating tone, and who the hell was the chick in the window - is that who they were referring to some episodes ago? The one who would seek out the one with the King's Power?

More on the subject of Shu; he seems to have drawn himself right back to where he was before - oblivious to everything. I'm not sure I see we're they're going with this but it's both confusing and interesting at the same time.

Poor Hare. I hope nothing happens to her.
