I watched an episode of Squid Girl. Pretty funny if you can get past the bad fish puns. Also, I kinda owe it to Cristina Vee to watch all the anime she has dubbed as she is one of my Facebook friends. :sly:

Armed with a staggering array of additional weaponry that inches every bit of potential out of the RX-0, devised by Takuya Irei, welcome the Full Armor RX-0 Unicorn Gundam.

Despite the "FA" designation, the FA UC does not have any additional armor for the frame, it does however introduce an array of weapons, and looks rather threatening as a result. While the mass armaments look a jumbled mess, they are in fact meticulously orchestrated in such a way that it can expel the full propensity of the RX-0's combat potential; the FA UC has a combined total of 59 weapons - 60, including NT-D.

Excerpt taken from Gundam Wiki:

The full armor plan was designed by Banagher's friend Takuya while he was aboard Nahel Argama, even though Banagher himself highly doubted this plan, complaining that" I dont even have that many crosshairs for that many weapons", AE technician Alan supported this plan and put it in use for the final battle to bypass the Sleeves fleet to go to Industrial 7 for the Laplace Box. Even though the ratio was 1:12, with the ability of FA-UC Nahel Argama managed to defeat the entire fleet, with Banagher shooting down about 20 MS and disabled many battleships. However, due to Banagher's exhaustion the NT-D system shut itself down. Later when Banagher confronts Angelo in his Rozen Zulu, the FA-UC is disabled in terms of control by the anti-psycommus system, but the anti-psycommu bits are destroyed by the Londo Bell Trinary. Watz is killed in the process. In the meantime Banagher gains back his control over the gundam and activates NT-D again, ejecting most of the full armor arnaments and ambushed Angelo. Then the psycho frame of both units reacts, causing a situation similar to the one with Marida, both pilots saw each other's past respectively. Banagher indeed pitied Angelo for his tragic past, but Angelo is jealous of how perfect Banagher has been throughout his life, even though he tries to kill Banagher, his severely damaged Rozen Zulu was unable to do so. Thus, Angelo used his quasi-psycommu arm to crush his own cockpit, while saying "I won". However the strike does not kill Angelo, and Banagher then heads toward Industrial 7 to continue his way.

True

I mean, there are more guns than actual robot there

Anyway, ah the memories:

Probably the only intro I've never skipped. Great little song, fit the mood of the anime perfectly too.

I suppose everyone in this thread watched GTO, right?

No, I never watched GTO. Also, Dravonic, you skip intros (And endings probably also.)? I never skip them, even when I have ones like this that are just :yuck:, though I end up getting used to them after a while.

GTO is an all time classic, definitely a must see. Onizuka is one of the greatest characters ever.

I stumbled upon the opening on youtube and figured I should mention it since quite few around here are latecomers and probably missed it.

And yeah, I almost never watch any openings/endings. I usually can't stand japanese popular music. I really liked that one for some reason though.

Doesn't help that it's long out of print. BTW, I think I first heard of the series early this year, last year, or possibly maybe in 2009 during my weeaboo phase.

I've only been really into anime for 3 years, so there are probably more popular titles I haven't heard of. I can't remember when I first heard about Neon Genesis Evangelion which pretty much every fan has at least heard of. Was it last year, or was it in 2009? Great, I'm starting to get nostalgic.

Moeka, the glasses girl, still want her to die in a fire.:grumpy:

Kurisu, the girl with the tie, she's overrated. Mayushi (The girl with that hat.) is way better.👍

Tie girl for sure, she's as good as tsunderes get. Glasses girl not so much, very peculiar personalty.

Mayushi is the annoying character you have to ignore.

When I finally watch S;G, I think I'm gonna fall in anime love with the glasses girl (woman?) and with the tie girl. If the tie girl had glasses I'd be screaming by now.

You mean Kiryuu Moeka? ;)

EDIT: TREE'D ROFLOLMAOMGWTFBBQ.

MAJOR STEINS;GATE SPOILER
There are two kinds of Moekas: the alpha and the beta. The alpha one, aka the Rounder, can go die in a fire, the beta one is the Moeka Cano should get :3

How could you possibly find her annoying?

Checking in. No internet at home.

I noticed that for DtB, the DVD subtitles are a little blocky, but the BD subtitles are nice and crisp.

My tv is too small to notice the difference in picture quality however.

GTO is great indeed, and yes, Onizuka one of the best anime characters ever. Now I always recognize his voice immediately when the seiyu's doing other animes and think "GTO!" But, I rarely watched the opening. Maybe 1 in 20 OP's/ED's get me to watch them fully more than once. Most Naruto's were pretty good and fell into that category, though just barely. Only a very few get watched practically every time. Here's one. I've quoted it before, but there are some new faces here, so I'll throw it at you again.

Samurai Champloo ED. I've seriously heard this on the radio. Shat my pants both times. Enjoy!

and yes, that show is brought to you by the genius who made Bebop.

So how'd you even know?

Is skipping OPs/ED's THAT common?:odd:
Here are some I consider awesome.

(One Piece Opening 14 contains spoilers, beware.)

(Code Geass R2 spoilers?)

Love the OST for Samarai Champloo :dopey:. Nujabes and Shing02 did some tracks for it (mellow beats) 👍. The series introduced me to the mellow type vibes.
