Up to episode 10 of Black Lagoon.

Enjoying it but I just can't see anything special about it. Just your run-of-the-mill action anime. It can be closely compared to Hollywood action movies, including all the cliches I don't care one bit for like blind/incompetent enemies. The unexplainable phenomenon where a thug will hold the hero at gunpoint but start to talk/run/whatever instead of pulling the trigger only to be killed a few seconds later has happened more times then I cared to count. Also Revy might just be a female Rambo. The woman is a one man army. That doesn't help my liking of the show.

Still, it's decent and has some relatively interesting characters. Would give it a 6 or 7 at this point. I see there's a second season but I'm probably not watching it, unless those last 2 episodes manage to surprise me somehow.

He's been searching since the start of the show.

And yeah, Mobile Fighter G Gundam's the only Gumdam I've got, except for a couple movies... F91 and Char's Counterattack

Out of two - CCA.

F91 is good but it's far too much "I don't really know what the 🤬 it is I'm watching right now." because it's a canceled series condensed into a movie, with bits and pieces lost along the way. You know what? Watch it. You may be able to see something I haven't since you have no previous know how of the UC universe. Every time I watch F91 I have an urge to punch someone in the mouth.

@Terry: I was wondering about 0083. If it's good and if so how.

Yeah it's great. Short, but great.

No? Watch this:

Aww poopers, if Navito gets hold of the Saber, which they should since they're a GSC distributor, I'm canceling my order from hobbysearch.... won't have to pay customs AND it'll arrive sooner... cha-ching!

*runs away crying* saaaamaaaaaaaa!
Now why did this make me think about Haganai?:scared:What has the show done to me?!! We have naked girls running around aimlessly in that show.

Anyway, if you didn't see this Loli, many shows are apparently on break next week for the holidays. So, no Guilty Crown or Shana III next week.

@AOS-, This is the kind of thing that makes my eyes ooze, and my pants wet.

Dat packaging, dat art, the art book, the discs.

Too bad it sold out before it's release date from pre-orders. I didn't even know about it until months after it sold out. It's not worth getting at this point due to the inflated prices. Though luckily, there's at least the rentals on the PlayStation Store, too bad the BD import was the only physical release here.

If those sound effects aren't included, well, I'm suing.

Just out of curiousity T-12, do all Gundam series follow the same basic plot as Mobile Fighter G Gundam? (Nations participate in Gundam fights to determine which one will rule)

If so, that could be a problem... because that's so ****ing stupid.

I still can't wait to see the spreadsheet for the Fate/Zero import to get revealed. The wait, it's too long.:(

Considering Type-Moon also worked on Garden of Sinners, Fate/Zero's packaging and art could be that high in quality. If it is, I'll 🤬 myself.

Though hopefully it won't be like The Big O BD when it comes to how it's packaged. The black BD amaray cases are very sexy though.

No.

Gundam Ball G is it's own little thing.

DEM BOXARTS.

Oh, I think I have started G Gundam! And no, Yay, no other Gundam is anything like that. Mostly they're: kid with a bunch of friends in a space colony gets thrown into a fullblown war when his colony is attacked to extract secret Gundams that are being developed there, and said kid somehow finds himself in the cockpit of one of these developmental Gundams and is quite capable, and so is pressed into duty on the side of the opposition on the basis that the other side attacked your colony and friends. But said kid is different (newtype) so tensions between the kid and his friends complicate things. Basically.

Wait... what's wrong with The Big O's packaging? That looks extremely sexy.
It's just three cases, and a booklet. It's nothing like Garden of Sinner's packaging that I posted earlier.

Japanese releases, while they are very expensive, they are definitely high in quality. Even something like the Rurouni Kenshin: Trust & Betrayal BD (Which I proudly own.) looks awesome.

That sounds a lot better. 👍

Ok, gotcha. Still looks pretty damn nice for just being 3 black Blu-ray cases though.

On a side-note, still have yet to pick up the other two Rurouni Kenshin BD's Aniplex USA brought over. Hopefully they don't sell out by the time I try getting them.

Though it's $355 (The Big O is 26 episodes) as that's the Japanese release. That thing probably will never come here unfortunately. Though the fact that I heard it had English subs, and the English dub is what had me sold.

By the way guys, I'm about to break a world record: Most episodes of anime watched in a day!!! :D

Not really, but today will be my personal best since I started logging how many episodes I watch per day. :P

But thinking about most episodes watched in a day... hmm... let's see, an episode is typically around 25 minutes. Cut off the OP and ED and you've got it down to about 20 minutes. Assuming you're watching subs and you're a pretty quick reader, you can probably watch them at 1.5x speed perfectly fine. That cuts it down to 14 minutes, rounding up. 1440 minutes in a day, so rounding down, the theoretical max # of episodes you can watch in a day is 102.

Dammit, I'm on 69 of Monster, don't you finish too soon! Might finish the series by 4 AM. If I don't get too many interruptions here...

Don't worry, you're well ahead of me.

Plus I'm splitting my viewership between Monster, Clannad After Story and Wolf's Rain... so me catching up before you finish isn't likely. 👍

Ah... I don't think even an amazing show with exquisite packaging would be worth $355, let alone that. :P

I could never do that, I'm not a fan of marathoning really. I once was, but I can't even marathon those same episodes of Bleach once I got hooked on it. 86 episodes in a few weeks.

BTW Yaywalter, how much longer do you think it'll be before you surpass me ever in episode count on MAL? I have 3,600+ episodes on there, which is like 61+ days, and that's excluding rewatches, along with for stuff I can't remember how many episodes I saw (Naruto, I saw nearly every episode, but I can't remember how many, and what ones I missed on Toonami.).
