Sounds like you're on an epic marathon there, all among the best that anime has to offer, no wonder you're going for a personal best. I'd say all different, but I'm thinking Wolf's Rain and Monster have a similar feel. I really did love Wolf's Rain, though it was strange. One of a kind. Clannad AS is more obviously accessible, great for a good cry, still 9/10 territory.

So keep on going, pierce the heavens with your drill of anime.. something.

I could never do that, I'm not a fan of marathoning really. I once was, but I can't even marathon those same episodes of Bleach once I got hooked on it. 86 episodes in a few weeks.

BTW Yaywalter, how much longer do you think it'll be before you surpass me ever in episode count on MAL? I have 3,600+ episodes on there, which is like 61+ days, and that's excluding rewatches, along with for stuff I can't remember how many episodes I saw (Naruto, I saw nearly every episode, but I can't remember how many, and what ones I missed on Toonami.).

Well, that depends.... at what rate are you watching episodes?

Since I started logging a couple weeks ago, I've been averaging a little over 5 episodes a day. Personally though, I don't think I'll be able to sustain that average. It'll probably slip to around 4, maybe 3 over time.

I've explained my schedule before, though it's basically 5 episodes a day (Not just one anime though.), except Sundays and Saturdays. That's just for currently airing stuff (And old One Piece currently.).

That many episodes in 3 years (Though, I had seen many anime on CN and Toonami beforehand.), not all that bad. Though 2010, didn't watch all that much. It was just currently airing shows.
So keep on going, pierce the heavens with your drill of anime.. something.
Anime, it's literally in his bloodstream.

What I watched today:
Honey and Clover II 11-12 (Finished)
Nabari no Ou 17-18
Rurouni Kenshin 75

Yeah, that's how it looks for a refresher. Was going to watch Toriko 36, but FUNimation's site wouldn't load, though it's late now, I'll deal with it tomorrow.

Well then I may never catch up. :P

FYI I'm not marathoning any one particular show. I watch 4 shows at any given time, and I rarely just marathon straight through one of 'em. Typically I'll cycle through an episode from each show, and just repeat that until I finish 'em. Some days I might get through multiple cycles, others I might not even complete one cycle.

...I did marathon through FMA:B though, so there are exceptions.

What if the show is 12 episodes? Takes under 6 hours man.:P

12 episodes is still 12 episodes, bro. :P

I did marathon through a show more recently than FMA:B though... Blue Submarine No. 6, but that's because it was only 4 episodes. About the length of a movie. :)

Okay, 4:23 and I've finished Monster. Still not decided between 9 or 10 of 10. Last episode was a bit frustrating. But maybe that's as it should be. Overall, a very well thought out, mature anime, with great subject matter. Hmm, perhaps a few loose ends. Leaning 9, though it did make me well up with tears 4-5 times, which is saying a lot. I'll wait to hear what Yay has to say about it before posting my official score at ANN. Either way, seriously amazing anime, but 74 eps is an investment, so make sure the genre is your thing before you start.

Actually, I'm going to miss these characters, after just a few minutes of thinking about it. I'm gonna have to say 10/10. Absolutely sublime composition. And what's even more amazing, nobody associated with this anime is anybody special. As far as I can tell, original idea guy, this is the only remarkable thing he ever came up with. Director, art direction, they've never done anything else special either. A few of the voice actors we recognize as industry standards (little kid Dieter is Naruto, and ID Keisuke makes an appearance, in addition to the ones I've already mentioned.) In other words, this is what you'd call a "sleeper". Nobody expected it to go anywhere, I'm sure, and yet... it has, beyond anybody's wildest imaginations.

I remember being somewhat unsure whether I thought the ending was satisfying or not when I read the manga, but ultimately I decided it was.

...But to be honest, that was a while back. I don't remember the ending very clearly anymore. :P

Jeff, you should read the manga lol.

Why should he? He just watched the anime which, from what I've heard and also from what I remember of the manga, is about as exact as an adaptation can get.

I am the middle of reading it..lol I always found that the Manga is a bit better than the Anime. Though some titles I tend to lean towards the Anime side..( Like Fate Stay Night and Initial D)

I marathoned RahXephon when I was younger. Whole thing in a day.

I did watch all the Guilty Crown's back to back, 1 through 9 anyhow.

Guten Morgen, everyone.

I was going to watch 5 Centimeters Per Second tonight but I accidentally started drinking so I'll watch it tomorrow.
:odd: I don't think the Asukas would like it if you turned into Misato...
EDIT: The anti-brony group is gone. I lol'd.
Good riddance, although I'm a bit fearful that W&N will target us anime fans next...:scared:

Guten Morgen, everyone.

You posted that in the afternoon. :dunce:

Thank god Haganai's over tomorrow... makes more room for Erio.

Haganai > Denpa Onna.

6 episodes into Clannad After Story. Was going very well up until episode 6, which was kinda lame.

Yeah you have to get through a few episodes of After Story before it gets good.

Up to episode 10 of Black Lagoon.

Enjoying it but I just can't see anything special about it. Just your run-of-the-mill action anime. It can be closely compared to Hollywood action movies, including all the cliches I don't care one bit for like blind/incompetent enemies. The unexplainable phenomenon where a thug will hold the hero at gunpoint but start to talk/run/whatever instead of pulling the trigger only to be killed a few seconds later has happened more times then I cared to count. Also Revy might just be a female Rambo. The woman is a one man army. That doesn't help my liking of the show.

Still, it's decent and has some relatively interesting characters. Would give it a 6 or 7 at this point. I see there's a second season but I'm probably not watching it, unless those last 2 episodes manage to surprise me somehow.

Season 2 is completely different. It actually has a story. I prefer season 1 though. Love the crazy action.

Better order soon, I'm sure it's going to be gone quite soon... LOTS of people want and ordered this. Luckily, the price tag stopped some people temporarily.

If they run out and NAVI-TO sells it, I can cancel my order and you can place yours, though there's no guarantee that someone might beat you to it..

I've just started watching Wangan Midnight... I feel bad for the Z everytime it crashes...

Thanks for spoiling that....

Design's pretty neat.

Woooo I'll be ordering DAT SABER tomorrow, or Saturday, or Sunday, or Monday. EXCITE!

I ordered it from AmiAmi as well since it's significantly cheaper at the moment... 10180 vs 11040 at Hobbysearch. I'll cancel both as soon as NAVI-TO gets it.

And if I can't... well I'm just going to have to sell that one off.

It's a race if we could do the driving of the courier trucks and planes and stuff

Otherwise, it's just a bet on whoever gets lucky... I can totally turn it into a race if I use Standard shipping at NAVI-TO, but I'll probably win. :P

I was just scrolling through all the NGE stuff on AmiAmi. They have a lot of random things. They are all sold out.

EDIT: Haven't posted a wallpaper in a while:
