Yes, I'm aware. But I'm sorry, I'd rather have consistency than "like the Japanese version!" when the Japanese version isn't really superior.

Indeed. I would be very sad if 2.22 didn't have an orange sleeve to cover up the shame that is that Mari cover.

When that Rightstuf package comes in (Clannad, and Rurouni Kenshin stuff.), prepare for a pic. I'll watch Clannad and give my thoughts. Also, if I ever manage to the Fate/Zero box set in March, I will do an unboxing, and give my thoughts. As an import, I find the price reasonable. If it were a normal R1 release, definitely overpriced.

(On a side-note, I like how much this thread has sorta changed since I joined.I've caused this affect at so many places.)

Like Loliblade gets 100's of hour of enjoyment from his games, AOS- probably gets 100's of orgas hours of enjoyment from his figurines. I personally would love to support the creators of my favorite animes with appropriate contributions, maybe $2 per 21 minute episode, but it's just not there. I don't need a physical BD or DVD or box with special inserts and cover art... Plus much of what I watch is fansubbed and not even licensed in the US...

I don't stare at my figures for extensive periods... I used to make crafts in the past, they look terrible so I'm always admiring the craftsmanship put into these figurines because they look so much better than what I can do... the folds and lacey fringes in the fabric always look great because I could never figure out how they managed to paint every bit of it...BRS and BGS's hair are so delicate and elegant... there was a lot of attention put into the long hair strands as they never cease to bore me.

Also, AOStina, (Pre-ToP) Ganondorf > Demise = NO. I just beat him after several deaths and going by gameplay canon alone, he's far more cunning, relentless, and hugantic than Ganon or Ganondorf ever were. Well, except maybe for TP's and WW's Ganondorf...that 🤬 had l33t sword skills.

I've beaten the game and, now, I am sad. At least there's Hero Mode and me one hundred percentin' the current save (and fighting that bastard again).

I will never understand your obsession with figurines.

They're an investment/look pretty.

Consistency's also important for boxart. For example, I loathe the fact that Evangelion 2.22 has a completely different style for its boxart than 1.11 had.

I hate it too. 2.22's looks much better. The packaging for 1.11 looks like they were targeting children with it plus it looks cheap.
