Ford Capri RS2600 '71

NSU Prinz 1000 TT '67

Jaguar Mark 2 3.4 Litre '65

MG MGA Roadster '58

MG MGB Roadster '63

Triumph TR6 Roadster '70

Amazing how critical small British sports cars are to car culture in general - without them they'd be no Corvette or MX5 - and yet GT7 completely ignores them.
Man all of these cars are great picks, the Jaguar is so essential for the history of sporty saloons, the NSU for hot hatches, and roadsters the more the better. GT is really lacking in that department, which I’m wondering too about as automotive history is such a important part of it.
I would also add the
Austin-Healey 3000 and Sunbeam Tiger.

What about the other "missing" Porsches? Like the 924, 944 Turbo, 928S...
I agree, those three do sound great. Here were my other Porsche picks:

963 (Gr.1)
911 GT1-98 (Gr.2)
911 GT3 R LMGT3 (Gr.3)
914
Cayenne Turbo GT

Plus it could be a neat look into Porsche history to include the 912, especially if it goes into the UCD rather than the LCD. I could definitely see the original 718 racer being added, too, alongside the 910, the latter of which would be a splendid addition to the other Le Mans racers of 1967 like the Ferrari 330 P4 and Ford Mark IV.

Feel free to make your own wishlist containing them:
There is no requirement to not select something that someone else has already selected. It's not reasonable to expect every response to be unique.

However there is a requirement not to crap on other people's selections and preferences. People may post whatever they like in their choices (per the above). If you don't like it, tough: it's not your wishlist.

Still drives me batty how PD made a pseudo Super Taikyu Crown. They know about the GreenBrave car and it’s such an awful tease. Just wish they’d have put the real car in the game.

Rather unpopular opinion but I’d think it be really fascinating if PD not only included a good collection of prewar cars but also had a decent selection of veteran era (pre 1906) cars and race cars to really give the series that whole “automotive encyclopedia” feel. Here’s my list of eleven cars:

For scapes/pics these cars would be fantastic. I don't know about gameplay or racing them... Personally i wouldn't use these cars, unless they were tied to certain events.

To your point, I'd totally be down to see the iconic Fiat "Beast of Turin" that often steals the show at the Goodwood Hillclimb every year. I do also hope that we get that supposed Bugatti Type 37. Indeed, I'd say there are quite a few great pre-war cars I'd love to see, even if many brands that we know and love today started making cars in the post-war period, like Honda and Ferrari; the Bentley Speed Six comes to mind, for one especially excellent example.

I feel like a lot of race cars are purposely represented in GT7 by having customized road cars, especially when you look at the parts available in GT Auto. We've seen this with the Special Events meant to emulate the JGTC and DTM, as well. Personally, when it comes to Toyota/Lexus racers, here was my personal list:

Toyota TS010 (Gr.1)
Toyota GR Supra GT500 '24 (Gr.2)
Toyota GR Supra V8 Supercar '26 (Gr.3)*
Lexus LC500h GT300 '21 (Gr.3)
Lexus LFA N24 '10 (Gr.4)
Toyota MR-S GT300 '00 (Gr.4)

* Assuming the final version of this racer has functioning headlights like it does in the official renders...

EDIT: Almost forgot about that Lexus that's been undergoing testing to replace the RCF GT3. Some rumors say it's gonna be called the LFR.

I've mentioned it in the past, I hope to see more prewar additions. From all Gran Turismo games there are only six (seven if you want to include the modified 1932 Ford in GT7) prewar vehicles. With the two Pebble Beach winning Alfa Romeos and the datamined Bugatti, we've got at least three more on the way in the future.

I also bet we'll get that newly-revealed Genesis GMR-001 racer that'll be entering the WEC in 2026 as part of LMH. I just don't see how it could not come, especially since Genesis is a partner of the GTWS. Honestly, I think it looks even better than the Genesis X Gran Racer VGT.

EDIT: I also hope we get at least one more road-going Genesis model to join the newer version of the G70. Maybe its larger sibling the G80 could come? Or maybe even the GV80 SUV, if only to give the Urus another rival. Could even be the coupe version of the GV80. Here were my SUV/crossover/pickup truck picks at any rate:

Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifoglio
Aston Martin DBX 707
Bentley Bentayga
BMW X5M
Chevrolet Silverado ZR2
Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat
Dodge Ram Rebel
Ferrari Purosangue
Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk
Mercedes-Benz AMG G63 (These are very popular, from what I understand, maybe even more than a non-AMG G-class.)
Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT

EDIT2: I'd also add the Ford Mustang Mach E, as those are also incredibly popular. Indeed, it's one of relatively few EVs that I'd like to see, especially since I'd say it encapsulates changing trends in cars - and from one of the most famous legacy automakers, at that.
