I find V8s to be in starkly two categories. Either flat-plane wail or cross plane growl. Ive never heard an engine that sounds like both simultaneously. Until now.



I know the 348 isn't everyone's (anyones?) favorite, but that car sounds unbelievable. Much more depth than the earlier V8 cars and more melodious than the last few models...the 430/458 don't really sound pretty, just brutal. The 355 still probably remains as the best sounding flat v8, but this thing sounds very special.
