Look man, don't make me look stupid for defending you somewhat.
You didnt look stupid at all. Thanks, cheers

@TokoTurismo I decided to come here a bit and see what was environment on GTSport forum, and oh suprise, its the same as it was before. We have the same old complaining from GT6.

Listen man, if he doesn't want to argue anymore then don't hound him.
Except that this is nothing new. He comes in and tries to dictate things to people, and defends it with lies, goal-posts moving, and insults. So when he comes in again, and again, and again, doing the exact same things as before, he is going to get the same responses that he got the previous time. Just because he wants to ignore people because he can't seem to back up his false claims, or ridiculous posts, doesn't mean much, really.

I have good reasons for having you both in the ignore list (since long time ago btw), but I wont say the reasons because it would be against the forum rules
Good? I doubt it, but you do have reasons, which are right there in the quote above this one.

I don't care about care about what he said in the past, valid or not. Hounding people is useless and makes things worse. If a dead horse leaves, no need to track it down and continue beating it, right?

And what are you guys doing here, speculating on a developer's effort and whatnot? Do any of you work at PD? If not, then it seems like a waste of time to me.

ImaRobot and Johnny, I have you both on the ignore list, dont quote me because I wont reply you
So instead of listening to people who only want you to be a better, more constructive member of the forum, you block them and continue to ignore the vast amounts of very understandable criticism against you? Protip: if you actually want to be considered a decent member of GTP, don't ignore people when they call you out on ********. Which, given the way you typically act here, they have every right to do.

When someone posts false claims, lies, or dictates how people should be doing something, they are going to be called out on it. If their solution to that is to ignore someone because they don't see the wrong in what they're doing, that's their own fault, not mine. Just because he removed himself from the discussion he started, doesn't mean the discussion is over, with or without him it will get discussed.

Please, show me what I've speculated.

What I think is a waste of time is you complaining about the fact that someone is coming in here, for the umpteenth time, spouting BS, but getting upset because people are calling him out on it. If you have a problem, report the post. Otherwise, you are not here to tell me what I can reply on.

I listen to the people I want, you are not forced to listen (read) everybody here.

@ImaRobot I have read the previous comments from the last two pages, all he did this time was come out and give his opinion. He then gets attacked for having one. How is that fair?

Cool. Won't stop me from quoting you though.

We're not hounding, we're responding to what he said. If you think we're breaking the rules feel free to report the posts in question.

And that's the problem. Those people you block - all they want is for you to be a good and productive member of the forum. Same for anyone who criticizes you for lying and moving the goalposts, both of which you do quite often.

Conveniently ignoring criticism gets you nowhere, and it pisses the rest of the community off when you come in here and do the same things people keep chiding you for. If you want to be a productive 'Planeteer, listen to what people have to say about you.

Where was he attacked? He came in, posted a statement of fact and tried labeling it as an opinion(like usual), and got called out on it. His response to that was to ignore the situation he brought up on his own. Having an opinion doesn't mean its free from criticism, nor does it mean that it can't be wrong.

And that's why I ignored them. They try to quote me non stop and try to force me to change my opinion and agree with them. lol

Nope, they dont want me or anyone to be a better member or something like that, all they want is try win arguments at all costs, like if this was an argument competition (I guess that makes them feel happy or something) and they are soooo tiring that I ended up ignoring them.

I have a hunch that you only see it that way because you want to. Protip #2: if someone criticizes you for something here on GTP, it usually warrants going back and seeing if it's actually, objectively true, especially if they do it repeatedly. Seeing a discussion as an argument doesn't help, either.

It's called impartiality, sweetheart.

Actually, there's been a lot of interesting discussion as people try to suss out what sort of game Polyphony will be releasing in five months.

If by "same as it was before", you mean members jumping in to tell others what are and aren't important features, as if their opinion is in any way more valid than other's... yeah, it looks like that started happening, oh, a hair over two hours ago.

No. I think impartiality doesnt exist, its all opinions, you cannot calculate the perfect impartiality

To anyone here, please enlighten me where @NixxxoN claims anything in this post.

I wish people would stop caring so much about secondary things that arent so important, and are very difficult to do, like a realistic, visual damage model.
Its just an extremely hard thing to do and its not worth it. Just leave the GT6 one and correct the bumper effect.
Focus instead on creating lots of new cars and tracks.

I'll I really see is him claiming that realistic damage models are hard to program for, which is true. The only game I've ever seen with a realistic damage model was BeamNG, and that's just an indie crashing simulator you need a decent gaming PC to run. Other than that this post is just opinion.

Also, reaction images guys? seriously?

He's making a statement fact and trying to disguise it as an opinion. All that is is a preference to his own self, no one else. So it's ridiculous to come in to tell people what they should or shouldn't like, or what they should or shouldn't complain about.

You obviously don't know the history of insults, lies, false claims, goal posts moving, and dictating that he has done so it makes sense for you to see it that way, but his ridiculous posts are nothing new. If you want to defend him, that's fine, but you should atleast be aware of the constant negative history this member has, and why people approach him like that.

Why isn't it worth it? Because he said so. Why should people be fine with the awful GT6 one and just play on bumper cam? Because he said so.

He pulls this crap every time he says anything about what he feels the next game should do (he once essentially said that people shouldn't care about having cockpit view or not because he doesn't think it adds to immersion); and the fact that his posts in this thread ultimately amounted to "na na na I can't hear you because you've been on ignore for a long time yet I somehow managed to see multiple posts by you and respond to them" should tell you all you need to know before you jump to his aid.

Why would anyone put someone on ignore for saying dumb things that are easily shown to be dumb? If you want an echo chamber for saying foolish things and go so far as to brag about ignoring differing viewpoints, that makes it all the easier to challenge said dumb things.

But that's not the thing
Actually, it was. It can't really be demonstrated any clearer to you than it already has, unless you want to fill this thread with examples of him doing the same thing regarding other topics. And strangely, it's continued mostly because you're white knighting for him.

But that's not the thing, this started off as the other members claiming @NixxxoN 's posts were him stating facts. (That aren't true) (In their opinion)
This started out way before this. All this is is a continuation to his off posting style. He, like usual, is dictating what people should like based on his own preference.

You really ought to look into what you're actually defending, as you seem clueless in this situation. He is the sole reason as to why people approach him like this.

You may think I'm "white knighting". Fair enough, but I don't think one guy deserves to have five other members constantly replying to him about the same thing whenever he decides to speak.

I'm not sure I can simplify anymore than what @Tornado already has. The statement of damage not being important is just the lastest in a long line of posts from @NixxxoN where he attempts to suggest his preferences are the only right ones. The same member that once hilariously denied he wanted an echo chamber after specifically describing one.

This is just this month's cockpit view, or high-quality car models.

You may think I'm "white knighting". Fair enough, but I don't think one guy deserves to have five other members constantly replying to him about the same thing whenever he decides to speak.

This is a discussion board. We're here to discuss, and words are sort of essential to the process. Numerous people post their preferences and opinions in this section on a daily basis without issue. The problem here is the matter of how someone is stating their opinions.

....You should try peeking into the "Opinions" forum, specifically the "God" thread. It's a fun place to visit.

Anyways, while it's been a riveting read, this thread's been derailed long enough. Someone please make a complaint regarding the game and get this place back on rails.
