Not only do I feel like I don´t improve and get faster, quite the opposite, now my Wheel also broke....

...but that sort of is a perfect reason to buy new toys, so I guess no Need to cry.

Hehe, i was thinking the same but i dont wanted to be to rude to all the fans ^^ But the truth is in there... Its designed for the masses. With simple but working addictive elements that satisfy the simple mind crowd:)

In simple words.... all the kevin´s & ronny´s play gt-s.
The guys who have little understand of nature, physic & empathie to things and how the world is moving will play assetto corsa.
Fun fact : i meet all the "good" guys in AC. Especially musicians!!! <3

1-Started a race 15th went 7th (No qualifying lap), got hit 2 times in 2 laps. Finished last, i was about to throw a chair to Tv

2- Started at 3rd, got hit and still finished 2nd.

My DR went C to D

Sport mode is hilarious. I think i'll only race on Oval tracks and still got hit many times.

Dont be a lemming and play flimbos quest** like the other gt-s kevins.
In other games its all about driving and feel the driving. In gt-s its all about, pedal to metal, steer left*, steer right*, in the right moment.

*dosnt matter how far u turn in, the more the better grip! LOL

I just found out that you have to level up to unlock tracks; what a load of nonsense! P CARS & AC give you all the cars at the start, people complain that PD lock the cars, so what do they do? LOCK THE TRACKS AWAY BEHIND A GRIND WALL AS WELL! The more I hear about this game, the worse it gets. I was tempted by the £15.99 sale price, but after hearing about this track lock drivel won't be wasting my money on it.

I don't mind trying to unlock cars or do some grinding to get them, but why do we have to unlock track for, they should be all available for everyone at the start of the game, PD should think about what I have just said for GT7.

Well why did you complain? It's such a pointless grind- you can do it in 10 Sport mode races

Why do you think I feel like I'm being crapped on? Because you feel you are?
 
I can't stand how demanding (unoptimized?) the game is for PS4 Pro... The fan is constantly active with minutes long high boosts sounding like jet engine! Now, while game is paused in single time trial for past few minutes, it's constantly on high boost... Can't stand it. Same thing in main menu, discovery, activity feed & livery editor... Not a single quiet moment.
P.S. Been paused for ~10 minutes now in single time trial & fan constantly on high boost... Tried quality mode over frame rate, but no difference.

I dont care about this crappy game, but i fear the effects of games like gt-sport for future of mankind and social. The people just get dumbed down the more they play this game*

I've been playing since GT2/3 and you don't see me posting or behaving like a moron.

"the effects of games like gt-sport on mankind and social"? You mean, giving people a means to get into competitive gaming and possibly graduating to full-time racing?

I am very very aware. I play the Forza series, Need for Speed, and I just recently picked up PCars 2 the other day. I also have Assetto Corsa for the PC and I've had that game since it was early access.
 
Dont get me wrong, i also know and play gran turismo since ps1. I had my best experiences all over the time with this kind of games. But all the years make things more interesting or less interisting, you grow up, things change over decades of time and also your mind will change. If you understand that, then you will maybe understand my opinion to GT and what it is now. I understand everyone who just wanne have fun and dont care about the behind the scene things. Im realy into sim racing, i love it, i spend money to it, i see it as part of my life, but when i see and read how and why people claim about something like GT-S then i just wonder whats wrong with them. GranTurismo is not something i hate, its something that im realy sad about the progress it makes.
 
Fuming tonight, I can’t think how many times I’ve told her firstly if there are other cars on the screen, do not disturb me. Secondly if I’ve got headphones on, do not disturb me. I’ve also told her today I’ll be doing FIA races tonight, do not disturb me.

What does she do? Interrupts my race, makes me wildly spin off and crash just to tell me she’s dropped the remote behind the radiator in the other room. Not happy one bit.
