My choice of Reject is the Midland F1 & Spyker F1 team in one, since Spyker took them over in 2006 there have been soo many different versions of their livery over a short time, I couldn't pick out one specific one so I made both :D Quite a forgettable team to be honest all I remember was that Christian Albers drove for them and had a cool helmet design(I was 16 at the time)

Sensational.

Hope you do full versions of both Half's of this livery, surely not much work there? Love it, go Winkelhock!

Not wanting to be the "villain" but is there any list anywhere of unsuccessful F1 teams that would meet the criteria, I presume anything that's had 0 driver's championship/constructors championships will qualify?

I have an idea! Now I may have to find decals though!

Just double check they haven't had a podium

There's a helpful list on wikipedia on this page; https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Formula_One_constructors

If you navigate down to the 'Former constructors' section, you can sort the table by Podiums.

Cheers

HRT F111 2011

Ah yes, sponsor-seeking at its finest.

HRT was a Formula One team based in Spain, which managed to survive 3 seasons in the pinnacle of motorsports from 2010-2012, until they decided to become an F2 team.

They didn't achieve a single podium -not even a single point- in those three years, and being on the same pace as the fellow backmarker teams (Virgin, Marussia, etc.) was seen as an absolute win.

They have achieved an iconic status in Spain, though, as they were talked about everywhere with the "This could be you" and "This is a cool spot" messages in their 2011 livery.

I know less than zero about f1, so I'll probably just sit and watch you folks this round.

I might have a suggestion to you: look for those website lists of small teams, or pre-qualifying era teams. I'm sure something will catch your eye and then it's just a matter of confirming if they didn't make it to a podium.

Not really. Larrousse, Jordan, Arrows, Jaguar, Fittipaldi Copersucar are all examples of terrific options that didn't have any championship to their names and still wouldn't qualify for this due to podiums and even some wins (on Jordan's case).

Nice! If this was somebody else theme, I'd run with that shameless sponsorship seeking job.

That is great, I was really hoping someone would remember Simtek!

I think we all remember that 94 Grand Prix of Imola. We all now that we lost Ayrton Senna at that race.
But many forget that we also lost Roland Ratzenberger during the Qualifying on Saturday.

He only had a short appearance in Formula 1 but touched many with his kind behavior. This is my tribute to him and to Simtek Ford.

If any of you are interested in his life and career, here is a link to Wikipedia about him.

Ahaha! This was going to be my pick too.. I was thinking about going down a different route and do more of a modern interpretation of it, so I think I'll still proceed with that.

It's a really beautiful replica that you've made here! Kudos to you!

Thanks a lot. Much appreciated.

I knew had to be fast with this one. Can't wait to see you modern interpretation of it.

Team fits the category perfectly 👍

A couple of big manufacturers on that list are eligible for this LEC, may have to change my idea.

You guys have to double check that list. It shows constructors - as in people who built cars - and this means it won't account for races where teams used cars built by someone else. Example: it shows that Frank Williams Racing Cars has zero podiums on its history from 1972 - 1976, that's accurate on the sense that it didn't wen't to the podium as a constructor on those seasons. But it did as a team, racing with Brabhams, in 1969.

Other thing is that this list seems to consider small name and owner changes as a new entity. Example, it shows Force India with only one season - 2018 - and zero podiums. It does this because the list don't take into account the Sahara Force India from the previous decade, which had 6 podiums.

So double check your picks!

We did not need the image of Roland dead in his car.

Added the bonus images I forgot originally.
I was too young to remember this when it was on track but I remember thinking it looked cool in old footage.
I'd already made it on the F1500 and SF19 so wanted to do something with a little artistic license rather than 100% replica.

Pacific PR01 Illmor

Pacific Grand Prix participates in 2 F1 seasons (1994 & 1995) and never finished a race above 8th.

The PRO1 was driven in 1994 by two of my fellow countrymen, Paul Belmondo and Bertrand Gachot.

That's my humble tribute to them.

This is my first LEC, it's been fun although I couldn't find decent pictures for half of the decals and spend much more time in Affinity than I've planned to.

Anyway, Pacific used various sponsors along the season so I've made a mix :)

I hope you'll like it and I would be grateful for some constructive criticism!

I’ve seen your votes a couple of time, it’s always nice to see someone doing the next step! Also welcome to another french creator here!

If I may suggest something, I think you should use White Sands location instead of Shiretoko. The place is less neutral but it fits better the metallic/chrome/special colours such as your car.

Pacific is such a great pick for this due to its unusual color scheme and I loved your attention to detail. Funnily enough, I always thought Pacific cars as a trully 90s design and yet it doesn't look out of place on a 80s car.

They are one of my favorite backmackers because they deceived me into thinking they were Lotus. In 95, they ran as Lotus Pacific GP after a deal with James Hunt's brother who had bought the old Team Lotus .
