Hi all! As I guess, we are a lot of people that we desire to drive the cars from this category in Gran Turismo since years..

Few days ago we've seen a gameplay video which shows the Audi R8 LMS Ultra; the trailer showing the Nissan GT GT3 Schulze and the SLS GT3..

So, do you think we're going to play with the cast of GT3 cars? As..

- BMW Z4 GT3
- Audi R8 LMS Ultra
- SLS GT3
- GTR GT3
- Lamborghini Gallardo GT3
- McLaren MP4-12C GT3
- Ferrari 458 Italia GT3
- Ford GT GT3
- Aston Martin DBR1 GT3
- Aston Martin V12 Vantage GT3
- Ginetta GT3
....

Cheers!

I'm hoping they get this right, equivelant downforce levels, similar powers, not saying that they need to be dead equal, but good enough that no one needs to spec them, hope they throw a viper and aston in that,

Why do most people forget to list the Ford GT GT3 and Ferrari 458 Italia GT3? Or the Aston Martin V12 Vantage GT3 and the Corvette Z06 GT3?

We won't get the 911 GT3 though...

With a proper livery editor and aero parts, we could make our own GT3 spec cars. The Z06 RM from GT5 for example, can be tuned pretty close to the C6 GT3 and also looks similar. I'd love to have more though, they would be awesome for online racing and also nice for photoshoots.

Don't realy care for these GT3 cars, look pretty boring to me. I rather see PD adding more silhouette type race cars from the SuperGT and DTM series.

GT would need to create tuning options like a "GT3 Tune" of a vehicle, which would tune it to a set power/weight with the bodykit. They need to make it easy for people to race in equal, high performance cars.

What about old DRM cars?

That reminds me of a similar idea I posted on a different forum, a way to make a better use of the Race Modification feature by having some class / spec RM options that balance groups of cars to certain real (or even fake) race series specs.

So a variety of the lower power family cars (e.g. hatchbacks and saloon / sedans) and RM them to a WTCC / BTCC type spec, with balanced weight / power modifications that still keep some of the car's individual qualities but makes them generally more even.

Scale it up for more powerful cars and maybe even give them multiple class / spec options so you could RM them to GT3, GT4 and / or other spec levels.

My guess is that the Race mods of the road versions of these cars are going to be the GT3 counterparts.

What about old DRM cars?

Those would be my first choice, cars like the Schnitzer Celica and Jägermeister BMW 320 turbo.

But i don't see PD adding them because its easier to modify a already available premium SLS or GTR into a GT3 version, than to start from scratch when making a DRM car.

To the OP, Not likely we still haven't seen all the group B rally cars in a GT game yet, Nor have we seen all the NASCAR's, WRC cars, I think I'll leave it there moral of the story is if PD get licences for something they tend not to fully utilize them it seems.

I think yes. Because it wont not make sense if they just put three GT3 cars.

If they could put one F1 car (well two, but they're running on different regulations so they can't really race each other) in GT5 I bet they can put 3 GT3 cars in GT6.

It's really hard to say.

I expect that we'll get a few but I don't think it will be as big as the presence of Super GT.

Ford GT GT3= Ford GT LM redux. Keep the Gulf livery. Just add a spoiler, better sound and call it Ford GT LM GT3 or for that matter remake the Spec II/test car into a GT3 and/or GT1 car. Honestly people, its right there.
Good catch with Zo6 GT3. but I believe the Camaro GT3 or GT.R deserve a mention here.

well currently, te '10 Camaro RM is a GT4 car. Nothing wrong with this, but a second option (with a bigger spoiler) would be great

1. Nice idea!
2. What if some cars (Cappucino or Silvia) Don't fit a class but are great cars. I mean, suppose they add a Dodge Stratus to the game. That car actually raced as a touring car, but it was in a defunct series, so oddities like that may be a problem. Actually, include the Touring car anyway, it looked epic.

It would be great if most cars had an RM option with the RMed version fitting into some defined race class that makes sense for that car.

GT3 boring? No way.
This game is called "GT" afterall.
We should have all "GT" classes available. GT4, GT2 (GTE, Pro, Am), GT3, GT1, SuperGT.

I guess that's too much for PD's logic. :)

I'd see two ways of dealing with the odd cars that don't directly slot into existing classes, either fitting them in as "fictional entries" into existing class specs or perhaps creating special race class specs if there isn't an existing real world one to work with.

In GT5 terms I seem to recall the Silvia RM (and the NSX RM too) are fairly close to GT300 cars spec wise so they could fit in there, after all there is actually that C-West Silvia already there though I think it's a slightly older model Silvia than the RM is.

For the Cappuccino, if there isn't already one then why not a K-Car Touring class where all the K-Cars get an RM to bring them to a balanced level around the Cappy's spec.

And so on with other cars. Of course that is more of a "pie in the sky" idea, not something I'm expecting from GT6, but it would be fun :).

hmm good idea, I think if this car is included, it should fit in well with the Altezza TC's, Mazda 6 Touring cars, and the Subaru Impreza Touring car. However, how about This car in with the GT3's

What about STCC, BTCC, WTCC? ;)
Swedish Touring Car Championship? That exists? Ehm...

The old BTCC was alright, the modern one... well, not that much anymore. WTCC isn't that great in my eyes. I mean, FWD cars dominating? Really?
