@T D
They said something about online club and league support. But they shouldn't forget "offline leagues", I don't have time for online racing either. I just hope they realise people are tired of "Japanese classics" events. We need either more logic from them or freedom, let's do our own stuff! But I have the feeling PD is really that closed minded.

The potential for online competitions with GT3 cars is unreal right now. The thought gives me jitters o.O.

But I also have to agree that the offline or Arcade Mode needs to be editted big time. I'd like to be able to choose my opponents OR be able to choose a class of opponents to race against. (Etc: Super GT300 0r 500, DTM, GT3, Nascar, LM prototypes and so on).

I know PD are going for realism but that doesn't mean that the NSX GT500 AI has to blow Lexus GT500's out of the water. I need to see balance within class itself... that's where I feel like I'll be let down..

For the SLS GT3 (2011) and GT-R GT3 (2013) already in the game, PD lists the cars at 493BHP and 542BHP respectfully. Forza lists there SLS GT3 (2011) at 550BHP. I'm fine with the SLS GT3 being from 2011 because Mercedes never made an upgrade package. They just released the car and forgot about it.

Really? I didn't notice numbers in the video, but seems like quite a bit of a power difference. I know hp doesn't mean it all, but I just hope all cars are competitive 👍

Make that 16 of each and I agree. If I've said this already, I still think it stands repeating: that PD put as many racing leagues in GT6 as they can, of various performance levels. Fantasy leagues are fine, fantasy liveries are fine, just give them to me. :D

I agree, the more the merrier, but I don't see a bunch of racing series and cars showing up over night. And while there were a number of awesome racing cars in S2000, Super Touring and Group A, I'd want PD to focus on the standouts before filling the grids with the remainder.

Group A:
Nissan Skyline R32 GT-R
BMW E30 M3 Sport Evolution
Merecedes 190 E 2.5-16 Evolution
Ford Sierra RS Cosworth
Holden Commodore SS Group A
Audi V8
Toyota Supra

Super Touring:
Audi A4
Renault Laguna
Ford Mondeo
Vauxhall/Opel Vectra
Honda Accord
BMW 320i
Volvo 855
Nissan Primera

S2000:
Seat Leon Cupra
BMW 320i
Chevrolet Cruze
Honda Civic
Ford Focus
Vauxhall Vectra

Would those not represent their respective series all well?

@ Snaeper and the rest above

Let's hope, but I have a feeling that everyone will be pretty happy.

I hope some don't cringe at this, but I would like PD to give us all the legacy cars from each league to flesh out the fields, and more besides. For instance, include the Opel Calibra and Astra in Touring Car. And what about adding in suitable potential candidates such as the Lotus Carlton? I want to see a full field of 15 liveried competitors properly homologated to roughly the same lap performance, without any duplicates or cars that flat out don't belong.

I fully expect that an Event Maker will be included in GT6, as online club and league championship racing can't happen without one. It should also work offline, and we sort of got one in Prologue and in Arcade Mode, where the game gives us competitors to suit our choice of car. The one in GT2 even gave us cash awards, and cars too if I recall.

I'm hopeful though that PD will be giving us something on the scale of what they offered us in GT3 and 4, with lots of racing, long race series, and this time with more league themed events.

All of these are ideal uses of the GT3 licensed cars. Endurance and Sprint races of all sorts. I'm expecting one of the two Aston's to be in the game and will be genuinely disappointed if neither make it within a year of release (More GT3 cars as DLC is a good possibility).

And GT3 cars are being modified for SuperGT GT300 use. They've become so popular that they're driving most of the old, glorious, home-grown GT300 cars out. The class is almost dominated by GT3 cars now. And yes, they are detuned to 300hp.

For 2013, there are 19 GT3-based GT300 Cars, and only 4 Local Japanese machines (A Prius, two CR-Z's, and the BRZ pictured below)

I would be honestly disappointed if they didn't include these 8 GT3 cars:

  • Ferrari F458 GT3
  • Aston Martin Vantage GT3
  • Audi R8 LMS Ultra
  • BMW E89 Z4 GT3
  • Lamborghini Gallardo LP600 GT3
  • Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3
  • McLaren MP4-12C GT3
  • Nissan GT-R Nismo

I'd also love to see 6-7 S2000 Touring cars, 6-7 Group A Touring cars, 6-7 Super Touring cars, etc.

As pointed out, they are not detuned to 300hp. The GT3 cars use their original FIA bop (balance of performance). Theres no way the gt300 or GT3 Class cars are making 300hp. In 2012 they increased the air restrictor size of both gt500 and gt300 cars. FIA WEC races at Fuji, and SuperGT. This is the only track they both run. The GTE class in the WEC is comparable to FIA GT3. The times are about 1:38s for GT3/gt300 and 1:39s for GTE. The GTE class is definitely not making only 300hp.
