Sure, otherwise I wouldn't have found it on google.

Never heard of it though.

I've heard of it because Tommy Rustad, former BTCC champion from Norway began with STCC :) Hehe. And some of the tracks used in STCC is in Norway :)

Why not have a racing modification option to turn the car into a GT3 spec car and then slap on decals?

Agreed

Oh yeah I forgot the JTCC, hopefully they'll add some from the different JTCC eras, yeah!

Personally, I would like all possible cars to be able to be RM'ed to a spec, and from there would be "Illigal" for spec racing if upgraded. Tuning may or may not be limited.

GT3 boring? No way.
This game is called "GT" afterall.
We should have all "GT" classes available. GT4, GT2 (GTE, Pro, Am), GT3, GT1, SuperGT.

I guess that's too much for PD's logic. :)

You forgot Ginetta GT Supercup, Yes I'm being a smartass :sly:

I'm glad to see gt3 on gt6. I also had the idea of a race mod system where the game specs the cars equal to the irl series specs. We haven't seen more than 3 gt3 cars confirmed yet, so I don't know if that's a sign of more to come or a complete package.

I think someone said it already but it would be easier for PD to have multiple RM that adhere to different GT specs for the majority of cars in the GT6. This would definitely allow for better defined categories in the game itself and thus allow better races as we can use rules for a certain category and all entrants must adhere or not be allowed to enter. Simple yet satisfying, this would be freaking epic and my garage would be filled with every version of a race car type XD.

Apparently the Aston Martin DBR9 and Vantage GT cars are in the game. I read on a forum that someone spotted PD recording there engines for GT6.

I don't know if this have been said yet, but.. Anyone knows anything about DTM in GT6? It would be great to have the 2013 ones.. just take a look on them:

The standard DTM cars will remain.

Oh yeah I remember hearing something about that. I'm too lazy to try find the source though.

Right but you know as much as anyone else about the new cars. We'll all have to wait and see what they have.

I wouldn't say no to them, but they look pretty awful with all the aerodynamic appendages hanging off them. Also the racing in DTM is pretty monotonous - most people watch touring car racing to see overtaking, which is not what you'll find in DTM.

The difference with PD is that they cover a wide arrange of vehicle class, as oppose to games like NFS where they focus only on hot sports cars. With that in mind, and 100-200 cars, how many do we expect out of those to be GT3 cars? We have to keep in mind of other classes, like regular road cars, supercars, GT1, LeMans, etc.

Just something I want to point out, incase there is anyone that is expecting EVERY (or close) GT3 cars to be in the game.

What has me intrigued is the create your own car feature, just image if we can create our own GT3 cars or any type of race car  E3 please hurry up!

What's funny is seeing this feature listed after seeing some mysterious whitecar from the announcement teaser, and also how it's a separate feature apart from "multiple aerodynamic parts and custom wheels." It's definitely one of the things I'm looking forward to, even if it'll be a disappointment... if that even makes sense!

People watch touring car racing to see touring cars overtaking and not 2 door coupes... (M3 coupe, C Class coupe, Audi A5...)

Here's a list of roughly all of the FIA GT3 cars out there that have existed at some time, barring a few of the very early models like the Lotus Exige and Maserati Trofeo being omitted.

Aston Martin Vantage GT3
Aston Martin DBSR9

Alpina B6 GT3

^ Give us ALL the GT3 cars!

I'm with you there, dude, but here's the likely list of cars we'll see.

Ferrari F458 GT3
Aston Martin Vantage GT3
Audi R8 LMS Ultra
BMW E89 Z4 GT3
Lamborghini Gallardo LP600 GT3
Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3
McLaren MP4-12C GT3
Nissan GT-R Nismo

These make up the most popular GT3 cars to date in just about every series that allow GT3. They'd be the easiest to get a hold of to model, and with the exception of the E89 Z4 GT3, already have their road-going counterparts represented in the game. The Benz, GT-R and R8 LMS have already been shown, of course. And that's an 8-car list that I would not scoff at unless you can tell me what other series in GT is represented by 8 models and manufacturers from a single class, not to mention time period? That's also not counting the Standard R8 LMS (assuming they don't adjust it's specs) and Corvette Z06 RM (assuming they don't offer a GT3 tune or some other competitive package.)

For the Ford Gt Matech one, No. Just No. As I said already, This car
fordgtlmracecar.jpg
Can already serve as a Ford GT GT3. Just add a spoiler (and maybe aero garbage) and redo the sound and BOOM! instant GT3 car. Plus, it looks 19x better. The Spec II race car
fordgtlmracecarspecii.jpg
Makes a great GT1 car, and all it needs is new sound.

They could try to make a Ruf GT3, by the Racing Modifications (RM)
Brilliant idea! Then I will finally have a use for those useless speedbumps

I think we'll get the Camaro GT3 seeing as how the company that makes them also builds Lambo GT3's. As for the Z06, I say leave it alone, although I do not know average GT3 horsepower figures so that may need to be retooled.

I think we should get the Bentley GT3 because we only have one Bentley to being with. It doesn't make sense to have eight real GT3 cars then have a rehashed, made up car because it looks the part. The current racing Fords are way too quick to fit in with the GT3 cars. The Test Car is on the heels of the worst LMP cars in the handling department alone.

No, it doesn't work like that. GT3 is a technical specification, you can't just tart up a fictional car and call it a GT3 car, it needs to closely match the other cars. Also people want real world racing cars, not fictional ones.
