Concept scheme I've been working on. It's a lot simpler than some of the ones in this thread, and it's lacking much in the way of sponsor decals, but I figured I'd post it anyway.

It's not as heavily GTP branded as a lot of the designs here, either, more like GTP is one of the major sponsors on a factory car or something.

Wow, just found this thread! Sadly, i dont have an xbox 360 but i hope to get it and forza 3 hopefully within a few months!! I am pretty artistic when i put the time into it, judging by what I've seen the layers may confuse me a bit but we will see when I get the game and I will try something!

If we're actually trying to create one livery that fits on all (or nearly all) cars, then how do we do that? Any suggestions? I know that you can select all the layers on each side and save it as a group to use on the other cars, but the alignment will rarely be right. Any ideas to counter this, or can anyone come up with a design that can do this?

It'd basically be saving groups for each part and then adjusting and ungroup it and work on it to fix it for every single car

I doubt the GTR2 logo can properly be identified.

Oh, I finally see it. You might put a halo of white or a box under it. That is a very nice livery though, and I'm going to have to include Model Graphix in my decal list. Way behind in looking for decal fodder among all the racing disciplines, and unfortunately I have to make my own or the livery is automatically locked. Meh.

That's what I don't like about this new retarded system Forza 3 uses, you can't change the color, you can't edit anything without having to erase the entire design itself. You can't even mirror an image to the other side of the car because it's locked, I mean, how the 🤬 does that make any sense? It was better the way it was before, it was either locked or a free-for-all design either of which was completely up to you.

Just grabbed a copy. Also your Abarth 500 is tre' cool as well, had to acquire that one too.
