I always run the B-spec with an X2010, and I get around 15 minutes a race. I think I may put that time in, as I believe most people probably run it the same way. I'm not sure people would run the A-spec with an X2010, as the time saved may not be worth the hassle.

For grinding, the new patch 1.06 did little to change them. The best B-spec XP grind is Nurburgring 4 hour endurance (however the dream car with an X2010 can almost match it), and the best credit grind is the dream car championship. For A-spec, the ring 4 hour is also the best XP grind, and the American Indy is still the best credit grind.

I understand that with the X2010 the times are insane but that's not for the average person. Either have two columns, one average time and the other fastest time. Or make a column for the car that was used. Or both :) Just my 2 cents.

I just raced Indy 500 2 times and already jumped from level 32 to 33 in a-spec... so it looks like they really lowered the points needed for the next level.

no they didn't. they increased the amount of xp you get for winning the indy 500 to 750,000. it used to be something like 250K

The question is does the average GTP user have an X2010, and do they use it for the B-spec Dream Car challenge? That is simply the best way to grind. A-spec times are not based on the X2010. I can change the B-spec back, if that's the consensus.

Just want to pose the question: Would people be interested in this "Matrix" as an iphone app? There is someone who could do it for me (I do not own/use an iphone, myself). Would people pay for such an app, and if so, what is reasonable? Is there already such an app out there? Would I be stepping on toes of others, or do you think there would be other ramifications?

What are your opinions (as in the using public)?

Note: Version 4.1 uploaded. Some new amounts are still missing, however there are a number of new features, which warranted an update. See the first post for the new links.

Got it! More wonderful stuff

Just wonderfing if there is an easy way to delete all your cars in the car colum. The one where you add 1, 2 to how many cars you own. We seem to have all your cars in the sheet. No problem if we have to delete it but it takes ages (hehe).

Great work and thank you again

The easiest way to delete is move the cursor to the first cell (C3), then hold down shift and then page down until you reach the end (cell C1047). This will select the whole list. Then just hit delete.

Many Thanks.

Very grateful to you for the huge amount of effort you have put into this as I have found it to be very helpful.

Thanks again.

Really like the car summary sheet. I had to plug in all the numbers for the cars (in the cars sheet) but, wasn't too bad. I just counted the ones I DIDN'T have. :sly:

A quick update for some of the special events, started a new game a couple of days ago and these are updated figures for 2 events in total:

Sebastian Loeb Challenge

Total Credits: 423,000
Total XP: 33,000

NASCAR Challenge

Total Credits: 960,000
Total XP: 81,900

That assumes you get all gold, will update on the AMG events when I get to LVL24 to finish them.

you guys are awesome, keep up the good work

garbunkle's matrix has been the most useful information for the GT5 grind, thanks again

I think an app is a good idea but if you are going to charge for it then it is important that it is accurate and kept up-to-date with all the info for all the races; especially since with every up-date of late the XP has been changing.

It would be easy enough to update for most of the races but would be no small task for the Endurance Series. That said I’d be willing to pay for it...

I've added the following XP info to the matrix:

Professional

Supercar Festival
High Speed ring 2850xp
daytona int speedway 2353xp
Nurburgring GP/F 1805xp

japanese 80s fest
autumn ring 5950xp
deep forest raceway 5808xp

brit light wt
London 2640xp
top gear test track 3595xp

Gran Turismo World Championship
Circuit de la Sarthe 2009 8925xp
Nurburgring Nordschleife 7978xp
Circuito de Madrid 7745xp
Cape Ring 5925xp
Grand Valley Speedway 10513xp

Not done the Lupo/la festa cavallino as dont have cars for them/couldnt be bothered with the lupo

Thanks, ifraser86!

And yes, trying to keep up to date on an app may be difficult, depending on how often PD changes the values. But with everyone helping to contribute, it's not tooooooo bad :)

Hello garbuckle.

First of all, congrats on the matrix file and keep up the good work...
I'm writhing this post because I noticed in a few used cars that the price in the matrix and the price in the game are not the same, the price of the new cars are ok, but the used ones aren't. I'm asking if it's really like that or what.
I think that the prices of the used cars are not always the same because it can change ir order of miles/km that they have, like in real live.
The other thing is that, the new feature of the matrix 4.1, the price of the cars that we have is great, but if the price of the used cars aren't alright, the value of this feature isn't also ok.
Sorry about my English and thanks anyway.

here are the new EXP for the Formula Championsship. I Drove it today :D :

Fuji Speedway: 40269
Indy Road Course: 39051
Cot e 'Azur: 39051
Nürburgring: 49600
Monza: 45542
Suzuka: 50411

The used car prices will never be identical, because it does depend on the mileage. However, I think they should be within a few hundred credits, so it shouldn't be a big deal. Again, they probably don't make a huge difference in the total car value on my summary, either. With the high value cars included in the totals, a few hundred here and there will not alter it much.

Hey garbuckle that's an AWESOME spread sheet. FANTASTIC creation and VERY COOL of you to share it with the Community  👍

HUGE KUDOS to you Dude

Almost finished with the A-spec amounts, since the version 1.6 patch.

Anyone win the NASCAR Daytona race, or the 24hr Nurburgring endurance? Would love to get the amounts for those two :)

Garbuckle,
Another trimmed down version of your Matrix. I've added a function for tallying 0 mileage cars on the summary sheet. I use Open Office but, I saved this as an xls file for you. Looks to be intact.

Wow! Awesome, EPowerBiggs. Thanks so much :)

Now the only thing missing is the A-spec Nascar Daytona and 24hr Nurburgring endurance
