The GT6 Epic Whining and Crying Thread

To "improve" the wheel selection we now have fictional "GT" branded wheels. No wheel width options either, only "inch-up" options.




This is pathetic. They have only added a handful of actual new wheels to the game. The majority are generic GT-aa and GT-ab generic spoke wheels. Where the hell is an updated lineup from BBS? Enkei? SSR? And why can't they add Work Wheels to the game already?

I guess I'll have to put TE37SL's on everything.

There are more rims in GT6 than that vid shows, look the one up with the red evo. But what bothers me is that we can't adjust the offset or width!

Inch up 1 or 2 ain't gonna fix this! Needs wider wheels with lower offset.

I've had with it with this damn franchise, everything from the standards, to the sounds is just pathethic. Now, they not only fail to deliver, but they try to lie and give false information to the consumers. They've lost all my respect. I'm skipping the PS4 as well to be honest. They don't need new harware, they need to stop, re-think and re-built their entire scheme. I hope to god that Sony steps in and make some changes, If I was in charge, I would've found Kaz a new job since GT5P.

I'm speechless. Is there another single game on the PS3 right now with such abysmal models? (2007 unreal tournament, maybe?)

To each their own. When I want to take pictures of a car; I use my own Nikon, in real life. It's more fun.

My mother once told me that if you don't like your best friend anymore, don't go back to your friend anymore. More time you spend feeling negative emotions by getting within distance from the person because you can't stop thinking of the old days, you are then just digging yourself a trap that will only annoy everyone else around you because of your endless grieving. Even if it is the only person you got that you can trust.

If anyone feels really negative about GT in many aspects that affects your choices and perceptions of the future GT will have, please leave the series immediately. Forget GT, there is always someone else. It's a simple break-up. And stop coming here and whinge about GT outside this thread. You are better off critiquing the game instead of blubbering how bad it feels to you that you would get feels. It's not helping anyone, it's not helping you. Stop the grieving, and start leaving.

Pre-order cancelled. I will probably get this game when it's like half price because it's a half ass game. Or I can wait for GT7 next year which hopefully won't be a letdown.

WRC the original from Milestone had some pretty shonky car models - they got better after two more games, but that first game was worse than anything on GT5 and it's on PS3/360 and PC.

To each their own. When I want to take pictures of a car; I use my own Nikon, in real life. It's more fun.

But can you snap all of those cars in every one of those real locations (plus a bunch that don't exist) as and when you want to...no, not in real life, unless you spend a lot of money and time.

Sadly the signs we are seeing again makes us believe he still suffers a lot from his drinking problem...

Right now I have lost all faith in PD. My only very very small chance is a phenomenal day 1 patch, which let's be serious that's just not going to happen. That said, I wouldnt mind getting it used after some patches roll in.

I think that's how i'm gonna do it also, pick it up for 20 bucks in half a year or something, it will be fun for hotlapping with a friend and trying to better each other's time, but for the game itself and the racing or the sounds why would i bother really?

I can feel you, all these things that made me get bored of GT5 are still there and almost nothing to keep my happy. My level of boredness () was so big that I gave up on GT Academy after I finished the leaf races. It's amazing how the developers have not grasped what needed change in their game and focused on totally different things...

The sad thing is, Photomode additions are one of the most interesting additions for me (other than the new tracks). After three years, I would've expected more than that - like maybe fixes to the primary gaming issues GT5 was plagued with, or some sort of change to the terribad paint chip system. It really does feel like most of this could've been a massive patch/paid update for GT5.

I'm already fairly positive the physics won't be the best on console, but I'm not even sold on it having the best physics of its console generation. We'll see in a few days...

Standards in this game is just pure stupidity. There is more then enough premiums, Pd is just padding the car count. Where is Quality > quantity?
