I like the new/old economy. :indiff: Maybe I like to work up the credits over time, gets me driving more and I do like driving in the game.



How is it "terrible"? It's a lot better and definitely user friendly. Better then GT5 that's for sure.



I have yet to race in the rain, but I have also yet to experience any screen tearing. Is it really that bad that it makes you stop playing? Or is it everything else you've ranted about?

I must be the only person in the world that has had a wonderful experience w/ GT6 and have not experienced the purported frame rate drop, screen tearing, and horrible UI lol. Oh well, onward through the fog....Guess I'll be racing online by myself haha.

  4. All the "base" models...
  5. Range Rover Evoque.. who gives a ****?
  6. Mazda Demio Sport '10
  7. Peugeot RCZ '10
  8. Renault Sport Clio R.S '11 The Megane is superior in every way rendering this car useless and a garage queen.
  9. Toyota Aqua S '11 .... seriously...
  10. Toyota Vitz F '12 LOL
  11. LUNAR ROVING VEHICLE
  12. Alfa Romeo 147 Twin Spark '06

Polyphony Digital needs to retire Kazunori Yamauchi as director and hire someone else. This is laughable... Why he couldn't make these choices are beyond me. He has the license with these car companies so its just so much of asking to map the vehicle which they would definitely allow for exposure of the brand.. Guy is a ****ing idiot. Doesn't really matter anyway. The audio will shatter all illusion of you driving one of these. I hate to say this after being a LONG-TIME fan, but Gran Turismo is no longer up there with other racers. It has fallen behind in so many areas that good ole' yama with his work ethic won't be able to solve in one game. Forza has taken over as console champ and PCars with its Xbone and PS4 ports will provide a good competition for Dan Greenwalt at Turn 10. I may not personally like his attitude but I respect his work ethic and accomplishments. GT has no competition on the playstation. THAT is why it does so well. When people see there is a REAL alternative i.e PCars the series sales will falter even more. GT6 is already 1/5 of GT5's sales numbers. I can't wait for PCars a SMALL INDIE studio to put Kazunori and Polyphony out of business. They have insulted US for the last time...

I agree. Kazunori is outdated. PD needs someone who knows the gaming market of today to steer it's reins.

Hmmmm... so you're saying eventually we may get back to GT5 level payouts in the GT6 seasonal events? Interesting, I wonder why they aren't at those levels now...... I'm not really sure......... what could be the reason...... this is quite the conundrum..... Polyphony never take backward steps, always so progressive...... they didn't forget did they?

Did I list the Civic Type R? Ford Focus ST? Renault Megane? VW Golf or Scirocco? No. I just don't like cars that are irrelevant. Those spots could have been filled with the better choices I listed above.

No machine is irrelevant my friend. Even the obscure is just as worthy as the popular. Just as many people can like the LaFerrari, as those that like the lowly Prius.

Many of the cars in your second list are not included in the game, nor GT5. But some are, that's what I was pointing out.

The cars from the second list are cars that are desired inclusions in the game. Didn't you see the "no" in front of them? Brush up on your reading comprehension. "Just because those cars are irrelevant to you does make them irrelevant to everyone". The world does not revolve around you". I am not Kim Jong-il so of course it doesn't. I say once again.. GO LOOK at the GT6 car wishlist and you will see the cars I listed in the second list were the most requested/talked about by the gtplanet forum members. I think majority of Gran Turismo players would rather drive a Supra, F50, XJ220, Mclaren P1, and La Ferrari than a "souped up" econo-box. ONCE AGAIN I did not say cut them from the game completely. I merely stated some of the more "dull" inclusions like the fiats and diahatsus could have gotten cut during development.

Kazunori Yamauchi seems to be the last holdover from the Ken Kutaragi era of the Playstation. Who would've thought that the PS3 could come back its disastrous beginnings and beat the Xbox360? Polyphony needs its own Kaz Hirai.

I highly doubt they'll get rid of their current lineup of premium machines. They'll just keep adding more cars of all sorts into the game now.

Yeah Kaz isn't going to do that.. He loves to "fluff" his car list lol. Hopefully we will get these cars later on down the road. Kaz is however known for empty promises....:rolleyes:

Why some cars aren't in the game is beyond me. And we both don't know what people would rather drive. But I do know that's there's no reason to get rid of "dull" cars when many people love and drive them. I also never said that you would want them cut from the game.

When I said cut I meant when they were developing the game not as of right now. Hopefully we will get these cars later on down the road. Kaz is however known for empty promises....:rolleyes:

But still, the daihatsus and the fiats are most likely not going anywhere. The standard versions probably but the premium cars only leave if licensing issues are in the way, as demonstrated by the Deltawing (Which came back) and the Ferrari F2007/F10.

PD's been improving on car selection in recent times atleast.

They ditched the Ferraris because of Senna's Lotus.
