In general, it seems to be Sony have pushed the price point toward £25 rather than the initial £40, thus making getting rid of it not worth the hassle.
I will keep it anyway to see the course maker and the other features. 👍 I'm actually keeping my PS3 hooked up because of this too, the potential is amazing if they get it right. Whenever that might be.
Similar happened to GT5. By the time I was even thinking about selling my copy there were XL versions, for $20 with $25 of DLC. Random vanilla version can't compete with that, and I doubt GT6 will be any different. Once they get to feature complete, they'll make another disc with all the updates, sell it for real cheap and all our "original" discs will be worth about as far as you can throw it.
Not that there's anything wrong with that, few people buy games expecting them to retain their value on the second hand market. But it would be nice if PD didn't cut the legs out from under the price of their own games quite so fast.
