That is why sometimes we use emoticon at the end of a sentence. No hard feelings mate!Very difficult to detect sarcasm in text.
Indeed. Definitely no hard feelings. It takes a lot more than a little misunderstanding for hard feelings from me.That is why sometimes we use emoticon at the end of a sentence. No hard feelings mate!
Surely this information bodes well for GT6. Surely it infers they aren't as focussed on the next game as people first thought and that maybe it'll mean GT6 does get some attention during the year.BTW, to those who really hope for a new GT in 2014... Well, WON'T HAPPEN.
SONY released the official list of upcoming games, and GT7 is not even listen in TBA.
My little finger tells me that GT6 will soon die of a quick death.
Gran Turismo 1-4 was like a great relationship. We talked, laughed, cried, grew together and genuinely enjoyed each other's presence. Then Gran Turismo 5 started to hit us. And we didn't like it.....yet, we remained patient and kept saying "oh, he'll change! He's really not a bad guy!". But no, he did not stop. He pushed us too far...we then thought "ok, this is the final time. He'll do things differently this time around and appreciate me more." That's when Gran Turismo 6 arrived. And 4 months later, 1/3 of the year is over, and he hasn't changed yet. And that's ok, because we can always move on without that person. We shouldn't forget the good times, and I'm sure we can forgive the many recent bad ones. But it's time we see other people. PS4 plastic surgery will only cover up his superficial scars, but deep down, he'll still be ugly inside. The core of his soul is rotten.
Especially when taken from the straight male perspective! No offence, but this is kind of very disturbing.

Yes- another analogy.
So it's like battered wife syndrome, except there's no violence and no marriage?
I'd have accepted a really nicely rendered premium SCCA equipped '70 Firebird for GT5.Perhaps GT6 was rushed only to celebrate 15 years of Gran Turismo..
47+ hours ... without whining and crying ...
...are we fed up? ...did we cross the point of no return?
is the disc back in the box? mine is ... only to return in my PS3 after a decent update
(My GT5 disc didn't leave my PS3 for more then 18 months!)
Eh 47 hours is nowhere close to the record set by the ravers and tears of joy crowd....I'm stuck between can't be bothered to be bothered anymore and mad as ^#&* and want my money back. All of it. Every dime. Also dithering between working on the "new" tunes on the top-end cars and dreading being crushed because I can't figure them out. Which would lead to being more bothered. So for now, I can't be bothered47+ hours ... without whining and crying ...

EDIT: And no, Jimmy, no updates yet....I believe Squanto was just saying he WILL only slide in GT6 again once a good update DOES come out.
Well speaking of updates, 1.06 is meant to be available April 7 according to gt planet including the gps-visualiser and what else we don't know:idea:

Amen.I love how the thread about the update was locked because it was full of opinions.
This is an internet forum. What are forums for if not sharing your opinion?
More likely one of the mods didn't like that most of the opinions were negative about this useless update. This feature would be great if the game was finished and all promised content delivered. But to work on this while so much is still missing is actually insulting to the majority of us that paid money for the game.
*sigh*I love how the thread about the update was locked because it was full of opinions.
I've come to this thread looking for a bit more information on v1.06 before I write something for GTPlanet but, despite the title, I see this is the "complain about promises" thread.
I was under the impression we had very many of those already and that the last time there was an update thread taken over in this manner I deleted a significant number of posts and warned people what would happen if they insisted on destroying GTPlanet's functionality as a resource because they wanted to muck-fling as far as they could manage. Perhaps I was mistaken.
People talk about other features not included, "promises", GT6 in general, Gran Turismo as a whole and the concept of modern, updateable games in contrast to the final product of previous generations. Given time it will extend to PD stealing your money and Kazunori Yamauchi's racing distracting him from the game.
That's not useful. Any article on the GTPlanet blog about an update will feature a link to the active thread on the update (usually under the label "Read more about [] on our forums") and if it's not discussing the update or giving any information about it what's the point of directing readers to it? We're just sending them into a poo-flinging match, oft-dominated by the disaffected.
No need. If anyone wants to argue with what I've just said they can do so with someone else.Sets down popcorn, yawn.
