What GT6 needs in the future:

...4. Also bring back original tracks in the game! Hopefully it would be DLC where I would pay only $50 for a bunch of tracks that are already in older Gran Turismo games I already own.

Please PD!!!
Erm... could I quibble on this just a scouche? This is one of those things many of us want dearly, because a number of classic GT fantasy tracks are sorely missed, like Grindelwald, Red Rock Valley and Midfield. I want all of them made at some point, and that would give us a wonderful number of courses to race. New real world and fantasy tracks need to appear too, but these older assets could be resurrected and spruced up in less time than tracks built from scratch.

I'm pissed because I'm married, and I have to wait until Dec 25th before I get my GT6. :irked:

Though I guarantee I WILL HAVE REVENGE!!! :mischievous:
ZOMG. Maybe being a bachelor isn't so bad at that!

So because you want it, it becomes a valid complaint, but the other (albeit sarcastically) put forward complaints don't interest you so Kaz shouldn't really bother with those?

Back to whining & crying....

Ah, I am lucky - my wife has bought GT6 for me (for Christmas) but I'll be playing it on the 6th. I think I'll treat her in turn to a game she wants - Killzone: Shadowfall.

"Kaz sold 70 million copies of GT series" is not in any way a valid argument. GM sold between 1980 and 2005 way way more Chevrolet Cavalier than almost any other car. Does than mean the Chevy Cavalier is the best car ever made?

I believe that the VW beetle would be the highest selling car. 'Best' is subjective, but the beetle has a lot of character and is well loved the world over, despite it's faults.

Why is Gran Turismo selling that much?
- On the Playstation brand consoles, there is no other competition
- It's a beloved franchise of the past
- It's a relatively good game.

(point 3 is in the right order, and highly debatable)

I so remember when the guy at Gamespot did his first gameplay video of GT5. Despite being a racing fan, you knew by the look of his eyes, and the way he was talking, that he couldn't have been more bored.

Toyota Corolla

In 1984 that was the Cavalier. Anyway, take the Toyota Corolla if you want. Result is the same.

In that case, I may have been conceived in the back of one. That's a strong emotional connection.

That being said, I'm sure you are right about the Corolla. But I live in Canada, and I do remember that the Cavalier was the best selling car there for at least a few consecutive years. Anyway. It was crap.

I'm a little worried for GT6 sales, especially after seeing how many people just bought the damn PS4 in the first 24hours...

1 million units in one day. PS3 did sold back in the days, 3 million units in one month.

The new game has lots of great cars, which I'm happy about but I think it lacks in the track department. I would like to have seen lots more tracks albeit fictional tracks from the past. Kazunori and his bunch need to recognize this fact that the game is low on track content. If I had one reason not t buy the game this would be it, however this isn't going to stop me buying the game as I've been a long time fan of the series. I just hope that the devs can add lots of tracks as DLC, I don't mind paying a little extra for their efforts.

Low on track content?! Tell me another game that has 39 tracks with 100 variations?! :banghead:

Three big dates for her in Feb & March. Valentines, birthday & anniversary. I'll get her back three-fold. :mischievous:

If I was 1 hour late on any of those things, I would be in such horrendous trouble. I am getting GT6 on time btw. :) but I'm kinda not on the "happy with list" at the moment, because she was stressed about an exam for her degree, so I asked if it would help if I left her alone and let her study... seemed like a good choice to help her, but nope, she blamed it on me not caring... this is going to be a very very long week.... :| Good thing Ill have something to think about in December for the next time... :|

iRacing, actually the numbers are the same...
Does iRacing have 400 super-highly detailed cars with cockpit views?
Serious question as I have no idea.

edit- just looked it up. Maybe 60 cars and it costs $100 a year? ok. I understand they're relatively new but come on

and you need a 500$ PC instead of a 250$ PS3 :)

They definitely held back on the classic track list and I think they'll offer quite a few as DLC (unfortunately/fortunately....however you see it.)

So, Iracing can be played with keyboard or joypad ? Will that be just pointless for someone who spent a lot yearly for one of the most realistic sim racing on PC ... and even one willing to use joypad, how quick/consistent one can go ? Would it even be enjoyable ?
